I was about to go to more stores but after I bought the skirt I realized I was out of money

There was a sale at Zara, so I bought a pink ruffled skirt and my mum got me a chocolate brown cordoroy (I should check the spelling of that...) fitted jacket. :buzz:

Thanks, I felt like taking a picture, but it didn't turn out that well.
Maybe I'll try again later when it's lighter outside.

Seafoam green and black lace lingerie from VS
Black Leather band Furla watch with a black face, bronze numbers, and cut stones around the rim...I love it. :)

Went shopping yesterday and bought:

- 2 pairs of ultra flat Zara sandals (1 black/1 white *different styles)
- 1 white Club Monaco jacket
- 1 yellow tee at Club Monaco for my dad

I need to go shopping tomorrow for a "vintage looking" black skirt and earrings!

I bought freesia scented body lotion & a set of aromatherapy pulse point scents for my friend from school who suffers from multiple scerosis. she is house bound & so I think nice smelling stuff would cheer her up.

I know its really sad - she won't get better - she will probably only get worse with bouts of remission. She has a really supposrtive husband though - but it must be really hard for him too. she is so young - only 31. i feel guilty because i find it hard to talk to her - she doesn't really sound like the same person - and her life is so different from mine. I know thats me being selfish to an extent. its hard to talk to her about all the things i do knowing that she can't even get up & walk to her front door. thats the bit i find difficult

i really understand your feelings helena...

my friend just got hit by a truck and was in the hospital for many months...they thought he might lose his leg altogether...and the one thing he said that he really appreciated was that i still treated him the same way...he couldn't stand all the people who were tiptoeing around him and acting as though he had suddenly become stupid as well as injured...

my advice is to try to do that for your friend...feeling 'normal' is probably very important to her...and it's a great thing you can do that is really quite easy...because it really has to be about the other person at a time like this...you need to try to put aside your own discomfort... and i think you'll find that you feel better as well...i know i did... :woot: :flower:

yeh - I know you are completely right. the difference is that your friend will get better & will get on with his life - my friend will never get better. its so sad - i have a lump in my throat every time i talk to her. you are right however about it being about her, not me. thats why I sent her the little gifts. I wanted to make her feel better & i thought smelly stuff would be good since her sight is gone.

anyway - typing this is making me sad too. thanks softgrey! :flower:
