* I have a poster of Johnny Depp from "The pirates of the caribbean" and some other pictures cut out from magazines on the walls of my room. i am thinking of getting an old school poster of Marlyn Monroe or Katherin Hepburn

my room is this candy purple color, my friends and i painted it together last summer and i love it. i have this great black and white poster of audrey hepburn as holly golightly framed. i've also got some band posters like rilo kiley & 2 eisleys. i also have a small bulletin board that's a collage of pictures from fashion magazines, i really like it. that's about it, i like to keep it pretty simple and not so cluttered.

I have favourite pieces of vintage clothing hanging from the walls using old padded hangers. At the moment it's two heavily beaded 60s evening tops. I see them as works of art.

^ those are wonderful. I love that idea.
I have chains of mellow orange/yellow/brown diamond shaped things falling from my wall, I tape inspiring pictures on them... shopping lists etc. Its quite handy. Now a days I'm thinking of changing my wall decor to something more simpler...

I live in a run-down apartment with five other room mates, including my boyfriend. I don't put much on our walls now that we've painted the smoke-soaked, greasy walls a lovely avocado green. I'm sure there are much more interesting and design conscious things to put on walls, but I'm easy to please.

On the door as you enter our room; a photo of my boyfriend and I by a friend and a cute image I slapped together.

This is right in front of me--on the wall behind my computer. A print of my favorite Mucha painting, a thrifted bird print (unknown artist) and an amazing Klimt calendar.

This is above our bed. Paint swatches and a photo that my friend took of me petting a dog, that later bit my boyfriend's hand. Eek.

prehuman your walls look soo nice i love the green with the yellow lightning! i always wanted to paint my walls aswell...but we have such weird/difficult walls in our flat so its very hard to paint. i just have lots of magazine-pictures on my walls, so that it doesnt look too boring and white

my walls at the moment dont have anything up.

2 walls are black and the other 2 have black and purple stripes.

against one black wall i have stairs to the attic. i'm thinking of putting up lots of different sized frames along this wall. and im thinking of putting a set of 8 small square mirrors on the wall next to my bed.

my walls are an easter pastel green. it has the most depressing effect on the room. green can make things look so dull when done wrong. and we have the worst shade. i guess my parents wanted to save money on paint but i think they shopped the "oops" section blindfolded.

i did a rough mural in permanent marker and acrylic last year, and it livened things up a little bit. but i had to cover it with the green again, to prime for re-paint in a different color. it never happened. but unless i'm buying my own paint i shouldn't be complaining.
