What happened to Versus?

I'm not sure what happened to it, wasnt that Donatella's. I only remember the Fall/Winter 04 collection.

I was thinking it was one of the things Versace cut due to their financial problems, but I could be wrong.

Rather than being a cost-cutting move, reports are that new chief executive officer Giancarlo Di Risio, who is no stranger to the world of diffusion lines, wants to streamline the company's many secondary lines into fewer and more powerful collections.

i live in milan, and in febrary the versus store was in sale (-65%!!) for the a/w 04/05 collection, after this, versus closed! i don't know why, it's still closed, i remember that when i went there in feb. were the new arrival for the spring, so..why now is closed if the clothes are. i think there's cofusion. versus a/w 2005/2006 didn't show.
santo said that was a decision of the group. but i have my dubs...

last week, i went to the versacestore in brussels and the people there told me that Versus, Versace Sport & Jeans couture are gone! what the hell! okay, didn't like Versace Sport but still...

I didn't like Versace sport either but I loved Versus, it was so hip IMO. too bad.

Same here in the UK, all the Versace stores are shutting down all over the place...it always bewildered me how they could keep so many ranges going at once, mainly from a logistics and manufacturing point of view it just seemed like crazinesss! Versace, Versace Jeans, Istante, Versus, Sport, Kids, homeware, swimwear, underwear the mind boggles.

Wow...The only store that I know of here where I live is a freaking outlet, nothing good there anyways and nobody goes there, I think it got shut down as well..How bout Palazzo Versace in Gold Coast, who owns that hotel?

i went to the versace store on new bond street on monday and they only had like 4 versus items nothing worth buying i really like versus its better than the odinary versace collections imo
