A shame. I liked her collections from 2005 until the last few seasons. Then she just stopped showing and disappeared.

Not that I want him back or that he was really a designer to begin with but what happened to gosha rubchinsky? I bought one of his pink/orange Adidas jackets because it reminded me of dunkin donuts lol and then it came out he was texting teenagers so I feel gross wearing it. But he's no different really than H*di or JW Anderson etc etc and they're all still blatantly doing their thing so idk why he decided to disappear

UGH please do not bring up Dirk. In my honest opinion, his talent has gone to waste. He used to make such great shoes, his menswear too was a favorite of mine as it had a real masculine look that highlighted the male form. If you look at the label now, it all looks like a Huge Boss outlet knock off sale. Really a terrible scenario for someone who had so much potential. The brand was sold back in 2011 so granted, he is not involved in the creation or maintence of his once namesake label, but it is still sad to see nonetheless.

he started a kinda sorta new brand/project called GR Uniforma in 2020? it had a shoe with Adidas but not sure if it ever really got off the ground

I always thought Comme de Garçons stopped backing him after teenage gate but I could be wrong

I was wondering the same thing. Anne Chappelle said in an interview with a local paper here in Belgium that she hadn't managed to sell the brand and whoever took it on was going to have to start it like a start-up ( that's the word she used). I always thought he was huge so that came as quite a shock

She was doing Marc by Marc with Katie Hillier for a hot second. Like I think it lasted no more than 2 seasons. Then she was hired to do Calvin Klein Jeans during the Raf reign. Her time there ended when that collapsed. I think she's doing something outside of fashion now, like she's opened a bed and breakfast or something.

I don't know whether it's the right place to ask this question, but does anyone know why resort 2023 seems to be already delayed? Usually the collections were revealed in May/June and all we've got this year so far is a bunch of smaller brands, Louis Vuitton and Chanel.

Everybody has logistics and supply delays because of China's Covid lockdowns.

I would be curious to hear where Hussein Chalayan went after he put his collection on halt.

Before the pandemic, he sold 20% of shares and planned to change the strategy of running the company. Open the first official store in London. Moreover, he did not like the modern world of fashion. He prefers to focus on archiving his heritage and working with museums to show it. The result was an exhibition at Power Station of Art - Hussein Chalayan: Archipelago. Sometimes he worked as a teacher at a desigen school in Europe.

I so want to see Helmut Lang coming back.

Charles Anastase? His last collection was Spring 2012, looks like his brand was one that sadly fell victim to the Great Recession but I'm wondering what he's been up to since. I can see an ig but no design work on it, he deserves better than to have his work called "twee" (it was far too provocative to ever be twee!)
