What to Wear for Halloween

I was thinking of recycling my cleopatra costume from last year, since I didn't really get to wear it for more than an hour.

then I was thinking of being Twiggy with my blonde pixie and an orange minidress and sixties eye makeup.

But then, my typography teacher announced that we're celebrating "Type-oween" and can dress up as a typographer or a typeface for more participation points (which we desperately need). I am now thinking of going as Futura and dressing like Margot Tannenbaum from the Royal Tannenbaums. I got the idea from remembering this article I read in the typography thread: http://www.marksimonson.com/article/87/royal-tenenbaums-world-of-futura I would just need a longer blonde wig with little barrettes, black eye makeup, a faux fur coat, try to find a fake hermes bag and wear gloves and little retro shoes. A lacoste polo dress underneath would be nice too....the reason being representing the personality, history, usage of the typeface "futura". Do you think I can get away with that? I just don't want to dress like an old famous typographer like Caslon or Baskerville. Most of them look the same and wear tights and wigs and that would be boring since most people are gonna be them.

i actually was thinking of dressing as margot tenenbaum as well, but only if i have two nights of halloween!! haha.... for my 1st priority costume i found a little green dress at f21 that looks like the one lesley anne warren wore as miss scarlet in the clue movie!!

I wanted to go as Lydia from beetlejuice, but I can't seem to find a black wig and frankly, I haven't got the time. I have this fabulous black prom dress and black and white stripy tights and a bowler hat, I wondered if I could go as a female version of Malcom McDowell in Clockwork Orange. Anyone got an idea how I could make that work? I'm going to be very much on show as I'm going to be on stage all night. I'm scared I'll look rubbish!

i'm going to be Jackie O. It's pretty typical but I don't want to spend $ on a costume and I have everything I need already:

white cocktail dress, black elbow length gloves, black 3/4 sleeve box jacket, black and white cloche hat, and of course huge sunglasses

i was thinking about being rachel zoe b/c that would be really fun but i'm pretty sure no one would know who I was!
