What to Wear for Halloween

This year I am thinking of being Travolta in Staying Alive in the big dramatic dance sequence

Last year, I was a faerie. This year, I'm not allowed to dress up, because my boss has said we have to stay in full dress code for work and I don't have any parties or anything. If I was going to dress up though, I wanted to be a pin-up sailor girl.

Haha, well here's an idea!! I went as a leopard woman... I got inspired by the felines, cavewomen, the Flinstones... lol. Only thing I had to buy was the dress (it was kinda too large lol as you can probably tell from the picture but hey, it cost less than 10$ !!!) Everyone complimented me on the idea! So I say it's still possible to dress up as "an animal" and not just wear ears and lingerie (Mean Girls reference here )

Halloween 2007!!!

im surprised no one has started this already given all the wonderfully fashion-minded people here but is what original costumes are people coming up with for this years halloween??

mines is a one piece blue unitard from American Apparel with a scarf wrapped around my head with the eyes cut out, some home-made superhero who puts ppl under citizens arrest!! i'll be posting pics very soon

I'm going to be a pirate (the party's tomorrow the day of halloween ) and I have a black corset with a red mini-skirt, black leather pirate boots and knives which I wanna tie around my waist with a leather belt I am just missing the hat!! I can't find a decent pretty hat so I might just use a bandanna. I also wanna use red ribbons like for a choker and around the hat if I find one.. This thread has great ideas! I'll post a picture too !

halloween is over for me since the parties were over the weekend and I live in a dorm so no passing out candy. I went as Dwight from the Office, people seemed to enjoy the costume.

Anyway, I just saw this picture on style.com and thought it was the best idea for a costume ever. maybe next year

What a great thread! Halloween is probably my favourite celebration... the pumpkins, the costumes, etc. I won't be going out or dressing up, just staying in a passing out candy to the kids and maybe going out to take a look.

^ I actually saw my neighbours' kids tonight and felt so bad I won't be there tomorrow night to pass out candy etc. I usually love doing that But I guess it's nice to be on the other side sometimes so to speak!
