agreed. not giving into that trend. i don't like how it looks at all, plus summer here is much too hot for maxi dresses.

I think that only about 1% of the population could make maxi dresses look good.

In Byron Bay, Australia, over summer i saw a model wearing a maxi dress and she looked amazing, but i think generally most people don't look so good

The material makes a big difference for maxi dress. Stiff hard fabrics look boxy and matronly. But sheer, light fabrics can look very beautiful and feminine.
