Annoying "novelty" T-shirts/annoying Phrases

Yesterday I saw

"Boyfriend out of town"
"The joy of FCUK"

Classy...

here we have 'dont just stare......buy me a drink'

I have two, only two. One says "If at first you don't succeed........try someone else" and the other one says "Stop pretending......you don't want me"........obnoxious, I know, but that's half the fun.

I do want a pair of underwear that says "tush" on it, just because I'm jewish and that's what my whole family calls it.

There are two shirts that I have had for about a year and a half that I just love.

Both shirts fit me to a T with their slogans.

1. You say I'm a b*tch like its a bad thing.
2. I love my attitude problem.

My whole life I've been opinionated and loud and people mistake it for attitude or bitchiness so i love these tees. I don't wear them everyday but when I do, people get a nice laugh out of it. Its nice to feel comforatable and make folks smile!

I really don't mind them from time to time. But at some point they can be overkill. Half of the clothes at Urban Outfitters now is just graphic tees! However a few is ok. Mine all have personal meaning to me:

"Ciao Roma" (reminds me of an Eddie Izzard joke)
"Stressee-moi? Jamais!" with a frog (on the cover of Belle and Sebastian, one of my favorite bandssss)
"Little Democrat" with a red/blue donkey (well that's obvious, and it has a message)

But yeah if I see anyone else marrying Ashton Kutcher I'll scream! Especially cause he, much like those stupid Von Dutch hats he adores, are soooo over!

Ugh, totally agree! Everytime I see Ashton Kutcher or anything to do with him; I just want to strangle him! :furious:
And I hate those stupid hats he wears and his stupid TV show and his stupid, childish personality!!!

(anger management) Ok, calm down....whew, sorry bout that

Anyway, back on topic; I only have one novelty T-shirt and it just has a pic of Woodstock on it (awwww)

Well...what i think is its all a bit of rubbish! Just saw a guy with a "f*ck 'Em All" sign on chest, but should really admit i have two "novelty" T-shirts. One sais "Smoking Keeps Me Thin and Beautiful" and another one "b*tch" in bold black letters)

You're all assuming that everyone wearing these shirts are being completely serious. Maybe they have a really great sense of humor and are being extremely ironic by wearing them.

Some novelty t's are realllly tacky. But whatever, people like them and are buying them..someone's making money!

i feel the same way about ppl wearing "nostalgic" shirts when there aren't any memories regarding the tv show or band to begin with!

there's some fad going around based on expressing the sentiment that random, burnt-out trends/shows/bands are "Awesome!" Like "Carebears rock!" when they probably haven't seen the show and are really just trying to be funny and 'random!' So many teenagers say "That's so random!" "i'm really random" all the time and it annoys me soo much! I don't know if I'm explaining this well...but anyway it really annoys me!

and the band shirts would be cool if they were from a real concert...ex. your dad or mom hands you down an aerosmith t-shirt from a concert they went to. my dad actually does have some cool t-shirts from Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead...

also, regarding vintage t-shirts like the ones that say"Aberocrombie Phys. Ed. Dept." or something: my dad actually has two really thinned out gym shirts that say "Stuyvesant Phsical Ed."

By the way Paul Frank is just great and those shirts are some that i definitely don't mind. They have a really clever sense of humor to them.
