What's your best color?

I always get compliments when i wear my celery green cardigan.... so i'm guessing this color looks good on me...

I think i look better in cool tones.. blues, aquas, greens.

I have mid ash blonde hair (which is highlighted) and pale yellowish toned skin (like the colouring the girl in my avatar has) - all the 'colour' books say that I don't suit dark colours but really thats what I look best in. I find that brights look terrible on me but muted shades of purple & blue and black/grey/navy are my best colours. I think cool blonde hair looks great with black. Red/orange/yellow and peachy colours are just awful on me.

do you find that these 'colour me beautiful' tests just get it wrong?

I've never been able to tell what colors look good on me. I have dirty blonde hair naturally but I have it dyed dark brown, almost black right now... my wardrobe is mostly cream, teal, rose, and black because that's what I like. No red in sight, but my mom tells me red is actually my best color. Who knows.

I think pink and green look quite good, but the one I like the best is black.
Actually, the only one that looks bad is any shade of yellow. I think it's my skin. I'm very pale with black hair, and the yellow just looks really horrible.

i usually look good in white. but i think many people look good in white anyways. so maybe i'm just biased.

Warm blues. Teal, aqua, turquoise. I always get complements when I wear these kinds of colors.

Second would be the burgundy, deep berry or dark, cool red colors. Same thing, I get lots of compliments.

And while I personally hate it, I sometimes get gifts in bright lime green and I get compliments when I have to wear that color too. But I don't really like oversaturated colors so I avoid it.

Oh about the skin tone, see my avatar. I am what? Warm, medium golden brown? Help me out experts please!

Yes, or at least not always right. I never really know if I'm warm or cool b/c I know I look good in some of the colors in either family and look bad in some of the colors, too Always confused...

I think my best colors are autumn tones and blues. My eyes are a grey/blue so any blue tends to set them off.

I also subscribe to the theory that you can wear any color. It's just a matter of finding the right shade...

Colors I KNOW I can't wear - the bright oranges, greens and yellows that were the 'big trend' last spring I think it's a small percentage of people that can actually wear those tones...

rich autumny colours look best on me - most shades of mid to dark green, fuschia, warm blues, and warm reds suit me the best. I'm not too bothered about wearing most all colours that I like though - like curious said, most colours can look good on you, as long as you find the right shade.

All I know is I can't wear yellow or orange, and if I wear too much black then I look like a goth... not really in the good sense of the word

The colors that look best on me are Burnt Sienna (rust or dark orange), yellow and white.
