What's your best color?

i'm guilty of loving black. it's just too damn easy! it's the material and the proportions which matters...

btw. if we were speaking patterns, i would say polka dots day and night :p

I have fair skin. I think I look good in dark blue (navy), black, dark red (bordeaux) and brown. But I also feel comfortable in white.

It changes with my hair colour, but i think it would be baby pink!
but ive also starting wearing black heaps and since ive got nearly black hair, i feel abit goth!

my grandma made me read "Color Me Beautiful" and she had my colors done. That's where they cover up your hair and have special lighting and drape fabrics close to your face to see what your colors are. You can really tell when people don't wear "their colors"

I'm not sure what my best is..I'll have to ask mum

but...
baby blue: gives me more of a tan and makes me look like I have a bit of blush on
baby pink: makes my skin look nice...makes my eyes look bluer
red: looks good with my hair and makes me look sporty(i dunno:rolleyes:)
white: just looks quite good I guess
black(even though i don't like wearing it): look really good with my skin and hair

I was happy to learn about Emina Cunmulaj because we have very similar coloring...I'm a bit paler maybe...but she gives me color ideas. Light yellow-ochre-olivey skin with black/brown hair & eyes. Who are YOUR color-siblings? ^_^

Best: dusty and soft colors: antique pink, dusty baby blue, beige, buttery yellow, taupe, olive, gray, dark brown and navy, burnt apricot, burgundy, etc...

Worst: fuschia, bubblegum pink, basically any color you find at Toys R Us...
Pure black makes me look too...Morticia or something...

I have a feeling skin and hair color are not the only factors that decide what colors suit someone...do you think maybe the shape of their features is important too?

Green looks good on me according to a lot of people even my mother & I always listen to her:angel:

According to my mom shades of blue (petrol, turquoise) or black compliment me, then again, she says I would still look good in a garbage bag  I just wear colors that I like at that moment.

^ my mum said the exact same thing:shock: like seriously... I was going to WRITE that.. all of that..

rose, dirty violet, blues.

i have very dark hair and very light skin and eyes.

i think white looks horrible on me.

Black, white, navy, blue (usually darker shades) grey, olive green...in general muted colors work best on me as I'm more of a dark, brooding person...I don't feel right in bright colors, tried on a hot pink DSquared sweater the other day and surprisingly it didn't look like a complete mess but I didn't feel right in it.

just remembered that my mom said that this certain shade of orange I wore a while back was very flattering to my complexion. It was a shirt that I like to wear around the house because it's soft from wearing it alot. The color is a light shade of orange kind of a sherbert.

Since I've changed my hair colour, I now look good in beige, pink, grey, yellow and purple.

green and warm colors like brown and orange..
Good for fall. ^_^

i'm not really sure. people always tell me that red looks great on me though.

Mint and Olive Greens...I get compliments on...and tan and white...always. I used to adore black for going out (I literally have over 30 different black tops of different cuts) but I hardly ever touch them anymore.

When I wear red, mandarin orange or aqua I usually get a good response from people. They go well with my skin tone. Red gets me the most compliments so I guess that's my color.

black

1] it's slimming
2] it goes with everything [except for orange]
3] it makes me taller
4] it's sophisticated and edgy at the same time
