Which Dress To Buy?

i wore a short dress to my prom too... then again, to homecoming i wore a floor-length, long-sleeve black raw silk embroided drop-waist dealie with a tie at the neck, it was vintage and a little over-the-top....

i actually like the silver dress, but the green is beautiful also.

agree! strappy metallic heels will look sooo good with the green

The new ballet flats with ribbons could look very cool. You could get a pink pair and wear a pink flower in your hair and maybe a pearl choker. You would look like a sort of a nymph.

Pink and green are complimentary colors, and generally pair well, and the light green of that dress is fairly neutral. It could also go with a dusty lilac color, or silver or gold.

I love the fuschia Nicole Miller. I love the way it clings to the body and think it would make you look like an old Hollywood movie star.

I didn't really like any of the others. The black dress is pretty but too ordingary, the silver dress is pretty but I don't like the color which is too dull.

At the risk of going against the popular vote here I am going to say that I don't like the way the green at all, not at all. I do not like the style, color or length. I would never wear it myself.

I just went back and looked at them all again and my opinion is the same. What I think is wrong with the green one is all of the pleats around the waste. It would destort your figure. I love how the fuschia one ties in the back which would show off a slender waste and flat stomach. The silver one has the same problem with the pleats at the sides of the waste but it is my second choice.
