^ I think it's slipping away from her....The City has been off the air for a year and a half now...

^ I think it had slipped away from her way before the cancellation of The City. Whitney has never been an "it" type figure, imo she was upstaged by her nemesis (Olivia) and has not been able to rebound at all.

She has so much potential to be someone to watch but she always manages to muck that up with her "dear to wear rags" approach to style.

I really don't see her in the same boat as Kristin Cav (who has no association with the fashion world)... she is just a bonafide famewhore.

Whit is actually trying to become a designer and has always been involve with fashion... It is actually a good thing for her to be an observant and see what good collections are made up... and maybe gets some inspitation.

It is also benefit her from the standpoint that she is building a relationship with these designers so when she is attending an event they will more likely lend her something from their collections...

This is much better than almost never participating in anything fashion-related (unless it's self promotion) and end up wearing Urban Outfitters on the red carpet with the same shoes and bag for 3 straight years...
