Does anyone know if this is true? Did the MTV producers hook her up with this so she could move to NY and work for DVF for her own spinoff? I wonder how Kelly Cutrone will take this. She was loving all the publicity she got from The Hills.

The Hills star Whitney Port is continuing to make her climb up the fashion world.
According to Fashioinista, the 23-year-old aspiring fashion designer will be quitting PR firm People’s Revolution to do in-house PR for designer Diane Von Furstenberg.
This will all go down during Season 4 of The Hills, which premiered this past Monday.
The DVF offices say they “can’t confirm” anything. And there’s no word on whether Lauren Conrad will follow in her footsteps once again.

^ Wow talk about upgrade! Maybe they are setting up her spin off show in NYC. I dont buy it 100% though because MTV would not leave PR and Kelly Cutrone... shes already a fan favorite. Maybe DVF will have Whitney work for them via People's Revolution.

That's what I thought. Teen Vogue had a contract with The Hills. I'm sure People's Revolution does too for S4. She won't be able to leave mid-way. She'd have to stay on throughout. I bet she'll be helping DVF during NY Fashion Week. Remember Lauren helped pick models for Marc Jacobs on The Hills in S3 and prior to that all the blogs/tabs said that she'd be walking the runway? The most random rumors get started.

Men say: If we’re together, I don’t have to be friends with your friends.
Whitney Port says: It’s very important to be friends with your girlfriend’s friends because that’s a huge part of her life. If a guy’s not willing to spend time with the girls, that’s a negative attitude and not one that I’d be OK with. Maybe he’s just shy, but if things continued to go on like that, I’d probably break up with him.
Men say: Women who have had plastic surgery have self-esteem issues.
Whitney Port says: It could be true to a certain extent. If someone’s not happy with a certain part of their body, then I guess they have an insecurity. But it’s the individual’s choice. I would never judge someone for doing that, if that was what makes them feel better.
Men say: You can tell a lot about a woman by her friends.
Whitney Port says: That’s definitely true. Who someone gets along with and spends their time with is a reflection of their character. If you’re around people that have bad morals or aren’t trustworthy, then you probably have a little bit of a sneaky side as well.
Men say: I could never settle down with someone who’s posed nude.
Whitney Port says: If I was seeing a guy who’d posed nude, I don’t know if I would look at him and think about settling down—but to each his own. If a person is posing nude for the wrong reason, then that’s one thing. I’m not saying that I would do it, but I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.
Men say: It doesn’t matter how I look, women are attracted to money and power. Whitney Port says: That’s ridiculous! There are certain women who are, but that’s just a huge generalization. I’m not attracted to that—not to say that if it came with a great personality, and a great human being, that I would deny it. However, those qualities are purely material and not something that you look for in a long-term relationship, especially if those are the only qualities apparent.
