Whitney Port

All the major department stores just have that sweater in black.

Does anyone know where I can get that great red color??

Have there been any more "Whitney followed by camera crews from The Hills" sightings?

So maybe her show will be a mid season sort of thing? Maybe timed with NYFW in February?

lol, she looks so young sans makeup. Her style seems to have improved greatly, she looks good.

^ I don't get it - she was off to such a good start in the fashion world...this sort of thing isn't doing herself any favors...:(

Her style seems so contrived to me. Like there's no originality or spirit there. It just seems to be a rehashing of other people's style. Sometimes she looks really incredible but most of the time I feel like she's trying so hard to be "stylish" and "fashionable" that it just seems flat.

I am hoping MTV will make an annoucement concerning the fate of The City when they release their statement about Lauren new show. I can see them cancelling the city... since they are picking up Lauren show that has a similar feel to The City.

They really show give in and make the 3rd season happen and air it directly after Lauren's. Surely, the people who tuned in for Lauren would stay on and watch The City... they are quite similar shows.

Whitney Port at Piperlime: Photos and Q & A

Mass e-tailer Piperlime recently set up shop in New York City's SoHo, showing shoppers that it is now home to more than just shoes. The site's foray into selling apparel was celebrated Tuesday night by the arrival of Whitney Eve, the clothing line by MTV-star-turned-designer Whitney Port. Before the party was over, Port dished about shoes, design, and the one thing that's on her wish list right now!
Q: You're a style leader for young girls -- especially the TeenVogue reader. How do you bring your own style to this collection?
I love TeenVogue! I got my start there! With Whitney Eve, I really wanted to dress everyday girls. I wanted it to be a more sophisticated than just casualwear, but be comfortable at the same time. All the fabrics are easy fabrics, they can be dressed up or dressed down.
Q: I can buy one pair of shoes this season. What are they?
Oh my gosh! Doc Marten makes these worn-in, navy leather boots that I just got and I wear them every week. Even if I'm going out at night somewhere, I'm wearing my Doc Martens.

Q: Your dress is great. Is this your own design?
This is Whitney Eve! This was originally a long gown that I wore to a charity function a while back, but I wanted to make it more wearable and accessible, so we just chopped it!
Q: And the shoes?
My shoes are Cynthia Vincent from Piperlime.
Q: We have to admit, we're a little jealous of you -- you have it all! Is there anything you don't have that you want?
A home! I'm like a gypsy! This summer, I gave up my apartment in New York, so I moved back to LA. I've been staying at a bedroom in my parent's house, which is nice for a week, but then you need to get out!
Q: Where would this "dream house" be?
I just want a home anywhere. I want my own home and my own pillow!

(September 26) Whitney Port was spotted at the American Cancer Society’s “More Birthdays” celebration.

Doesn't sound like someone who is getting ready to shoot a TV season in NY, does it.... :(

Im hoping the show will come back next year, it was getting to be interesting.

^ Why would MTV be all but ignoring the show if they had any interest in keeping it on the air? Wouldn't their web site at least mention 'on hiatus' or 'check back for news on upcoming shows' or whatever? It isn't very encouraging...:(
