I have to second the J. Crew suggestion, if you get one of their coats that's lined with Thinsulate they're very warm, and they're all pretty classic and simple so they go with everything. They also last really well, which is important if you beat up winter coats like I do. I've had J. Crew coats for the past 4 years and I don't plan on switching brands any time soon. Here are some of my favorites from this year:
I'm sure that they'll come out with more if you wait a few weeks.
Winter will be bearing down on me here in NY in the next 2 months so therefor im looking to purchase a winter jacket. Im looking for something trendy yet professional looking. Anyone have any links or ideas thanks.

Dior Homme Jackets/Coats can be purchased at eluxury.com, brownsfahion.com, and luisaviaroma.com. The third website sells the exact jacket in the upper right hand corner. It is a little more expensive than other Dior Homme coats, 2629.00 €, but is so well worth it. The peacoat on the top right you would have to call the New York botique, the Vegas botique, Barneys New York, or Saks for. I tried it on last month, it was a great coat, but was too large for me. I think it was somewhere aroun $3000.
