It's almost redundant to even mention these, since they're pretty much universally hated, but all the fricken ghetto ads ... Baby Phat, J. Lo (Miami Glow especially, the guy looks about thirteen), G Unit ... there should be laws preventing this sort of monstrosity, honestly. I would go as far to say I would prefer all of the ads mentioned in this thread over these.

Now that everyone is mentioning the Versace ads, I keep remembering last seasons with Madonna. I actually started cracking up when I saw these...

Also- the Saks Fifth Avenue ad in Sept. Vouge- it had about 20 pages and featured people from a ballet (please correct me if I'm not getting my information straight)... but it is just so long!! It really bugs me, just so many pages.

Also those ads for the fur emporium or whatever it is... also in S. Vouge... they're ugly and too many pages. Just acts as a nuisance.

i was so surprised when ppl said they liked Daria's YSL ads. at least now and here there are ppl who agree with me in disliking it. it's not that i don't like Daria. it's just that i've seen better from her.

i suppose hate is too strong a word to describe this one. i prefer dislike. I don't like Gemma's CK Obsession Night ad. but that's my opinion anyway...

I hate all ads with celebrities like the Louis Vuitton ads with Uma Thermon eeeew!

I mostly agree with that. I prefer models to actresses when promoting fashion etc.

I dislike most if not all the ad's lately. I can't pick just one.

But the YSL's definately stand out in horribleness.

D&G has gone from bad to worse.

Prada and Gucci are so boring that I often confused the two for eachother.

Versace.

It doesn't bother me as much when not so high fashion brands such as Deisel have bad advertisements...

But! I do always love Chloe adverts.

I think Uma's beautiful in those ads.

Oh sorry I didn't know that her mom was a model...thats nice to know that she isn't just another celebrity taking a models place because that just bugs me for some reason

I noticed that the Italian brands seem to go sexier in what I assume are market-specific ads in Italian Vogue, some of which I like better than the same brand's ads for the American market ... perhaps because they seem franker, more open, and seem to be showing more interesting merchandise ...

Just wanted to add, the Judith Leiber campaign with Nelly and Ivana Trump--together. Ivana's lips are blown up to sidewalk caricature proportions ... one page is Nelly's huge Leiber belt buckle and immediately surrounding areas ... I realize these folks apparently represent her two target markets, but ...

I really dislike the YSL and Gucci ads this season. Solange wilvert is great and all but i think someone like Bianca Balti would have been a better pick for Gucci.
I'm not liking Uma thurman for Louis Vuitton either. The chloe ads are pretty awful aswell as Dior.

nobody has mentioned it, but i really dislike those lancome or estee lauder or whatever it is ads with carolyn murphy and the rainbows. they look so cheesy. especially the commercial where shes walking onf it and ther is the madonna song, just awful
