Worst Makeup Mistakes!

Mine would be:

- Those young girls that think they look nice with too much clear lipgloss on! It looks so trashy. You know those girls that has lipgloss that seems as if it's about to drip from their mouth.

- Foundations that tend toward an orangey shade. I know I lot of people whose skin look normal inside, but it's a completly different story once they go outside. You can clearly see weird looking orange or a bit brownish spots on their face.

- Cakey foundation. Ewwwwwww. That's the worst makeup faux pas.

- Clumpy mascara.

- People whose lips are chapped but still wear lipstick. It's one of those things I just can't stand. It's so unattractive.

- People that wear foundation that is clearly a shade or two (or sometimes even more!) lighter than their skin color.

- I see a lot of women (all the time) that have trouble drawing their brows. It can be wether a really weird and straight shape or just something else out of this world.

Blusher belonging in the big top is one which has stuck in my mind.

Clown make-up in general.

That Avril Lavignesque eyeliner look of circling the eyes again and again and again until they are no longer visible without a telescope.

too dark foundation-people here always think it will make them look tan if they wear foundation that is darker than their skin-yuck!

o my gawdy that is to tacky! I hate that drugstore brands are making their already cheap liquid lip colors even cheaper by adding tiny tinny bits . . . ick, stay away people, just stay away!

And I forgot!!! People who epilate their brows so much tht they only leave a line if anything... Thin is OK if that's what you like, those anerorexic thingies look terrible

ITA - Eyebrows can make or break a face - Brows are one thing that should NOT be toothpick thin!

lip liner

 

[Plumour]

- cakey or heavy foundations, or foundations that are way too light for their skin

- the face is all nicely covered up by foundations while the neck is being the real self

- unnatural blush

- unnatural highlights/shadows

- deadly thick black eyeliner (or brows)

- lip liner that is too many shades darker than the lip color

- lips that are too GLITTERING

- fake lashes that are TOO fake TOO long that I can see them miles away

- the eye makeup and the lips don't match (leave the lips simple and fresh if you've done a lot to your eyes, and leave the eye area nice and clean if you wanna go for the hot red lip look.

That's so disgusting. There's tons of women in the mall I work that wears that "look".

Tanning bed orange skin + frosted stick straight hair +bronze lipstick = generic-girl-at-my-university makeup. Give it a rest, ladies.

Also, I hate when I see a full face of foundation on young girls. I mean, unless they have some sort of bad skin disorder that they need to cover, it's just not necessary.

The worst is all the makeup piled onto six or seven year old girls in beauty pageants! Everything about that situation is just wrong.

I have to agree on that!

Some girls have perfect skin and I just don't get why they cover up their skin with heavy foundation.... ....!?! I just ruins the natural beauty of their facial skin!

- wear baaaaad orange foundation or fake-tan

- over-pluck brows (kinda related to make up)
- forget to blend into their neck
