Worst Makeup Mistakes!

* any kind of lip stuff on chapped lips! eep

* chapped/pale lipped(i got pale pink lips so im not just hating! but i keep them moisturized!) smiles when the edges of their lips just blend into the face but the edges still chalky looking... just my pet peeve really!
can i offer you some lip chap!

* full makeup except one area of the face...when that person really really really needs it. sometimes they need some kind of lip color or blush to balance the look so at a glance they just look incomplete

I agree with the lip products on chapped lips thing, the only thing you should be using then is lip balm.

Brown lipliner in general. Or any colour lipliner that's different to the colour on the lips

I saw an episode of "What Not to Wear" where a lady actually got the look of eyeliner tattooed on her face.....eeeek....

- Foundation that doesn't match skintone, and it ends on their jawline revealing a white neck.

- Concealer on lips, yuck.

- Reallllly thin, and long drawn on brows.

- Dark lipliner/nude lips.

- Blush that hasn't been blended properly.

Too much eye shadow in a vibrant color. Once for a night out, my friend kinda got the lines blurred in between what's "Club" and what's "Clown"...No joke, it went PAST her eyebrows...

My friend uses a crease brush to apply MAC fluid line. I at least got her to start putting eyeliner on her upper and lower lash line. But she still gives herself a giant line on her lower lash line that stops half way across.

^ yikes. Fluidline abuse is the worst! that stuff is dramatic enough, i cant even imagine how she got that stuff with work with a crease brush though! lol

I'm not sure how she does either. I was watching her do it and she like slicked the entire side of the brush through the pot, then put it on.

I accidently did this this morning which is very unike me,when mascara is applied and then kind of smudges on the eyelid/lash line. If that makes sense. Get a cotton bud and clean it up girl! (I did when i realised )

It's fun to play with though. I wore it out for Halloween. MU would be beyond boring if you weren't allowed to be creative with it.

^ Halloween is fine, other super crazy occasions etc and if you are a MAC artist and you want to show off your creativity. but not on a daily basis, its more distracting than anything.

I'm going to have to disagree with that one personally. When I get to be over 48, if I want to wear intense red, I'm going to wear it.

- too much/too dark bronzer

- too much kajal (very few people can wear it at all)

- if you can't handle fake lashes, DON'T USE THEM! nothing is worse than badly taped lashes

- trying to copy a look that doesnt look good on you

- too pale lipstick (that is supposed to be "nude")

- thinking that when you buy MAC, you can't do wrong with make up... sorry, you can do wrong

- trying to fill your eyebrows with the wrong colour

Oh yes...the "I Buy MAC So I Do No Wrong" excuse. There are many of the artists who need a few lessons themselves, and don't get me started on the average makeup fan. There are a few unnamed beauty bloggers who do not understand the concept of "highlight space". We're talking the bright crease colour that goes within a half-centimeter of the brow.

As for rainbow eyes-I am definitely guilty of that one. It's tasteful though, as the red is more of a reddish-brown, and I only use that, a yellow, a green, and a royal blue. I am one for very elaborate eye makeup, so I'll keep doing my interpretation of the rainbow eyes (which does not entail every single product I own).
