I don't think the photos are disastrously bad, but Porodina's style isn't right for Sweeney and whoever comissioned this doesn't understand her appeal.

Although I like that it's an unexpected combination of subject and photographer, it's something new-ish for Sydney Sweeney to be portrayed like this.

Artists stop sucking up to celebrity challenge and I nominate porodina.

Roversi she is not. Her way with lighting, filters and post production just gets in the way. It’s like looking through astigmatism with cataracts.

Sydney always has a derp face quality in still image. Similar to Mia Goth, and Alicia Vikander. She doesn’t translate well editorially, or at least here.

What a truly stunning and flawless cover shot. About time WSJ Magazine started serving up this level of fabulosity once again. I used to adore this magazine, but it has most definitely fallen off, following Kristina O'Neill's exit. This September cover is a step in the right direction...

I really don’t like it. Sydney is not a photogenic person. She is not high fashion model. Nothing works here and Porodina is not good photographer for celebrities, models yes, but celebrities no. They just look so weird. Models can pull it off.

This is creepy, scary, she looks like a real witch and with scandals that she is having now, this is not going to her favor.

Did I mention that for me she seems very non likeable. Just her personality seems so arrogant. Umm… I am skipping everything she’s been in.

I don't really follow her career, so I can't comment on her talent, but aesthetically I have never seen the appeal. I think she's an attractive woman, but not particularly alluring. She has that dead in the face appeal, so many young starlets think is seductive. It just looks special needs... She brings nothing to these Roversi wannabe images.
