Yoox

Yes, I would say it ranks along with the HUGO line, Paul Lafontaine, Ted Baker, etc.
Their pricing is crazy, especially on shirts, which sometimes costs upwards of $245 (you can get a great custom-made shirt for much less). They tend to use stretch in their items and have a better fit than many brands. If you saw it at Macys (strange, the NYC one, at last look, doesn't carry it, but I have heard the West Coast stores do), expect to find it on sale. It's sold at Saks, Neimans, Bloomies, and tons of other spots and you can find it at a deep discount. It's not worth it at full retail. It's become very popular of late.

You can look on Saks.com, goclothing.com, Neimans.com for a selection. They cut a great pant IMO and have some interesting patterns and stripes.

I had been eying up a pair of shoes on Yoox which were £176 before I went on holiday & they are now £205. They have gone up in three weeks! I would say there's not much discount there from the original price.

Thanks!

:o  ...that's insane??!!!...i never heard of such a thing...!!!

I object... :furious:

I fidn it odd that some items are only avlibal for certin countrys

I like Yoox.com even though I havent purchased anything from there yet. But I heard that there stuff may not be authentic? Is this true? I dont believe any of their stuff is fake, but I was just wondering.

Also, Im not surprised much to hear that something has gone up in price. I was on another website where an item I kinda liked was on sale, and now its back up to its original price again. :furious:

I think this is because they have several warehouses. For the US, your items ship from Secaucus NJ, but if you are in Europe I think they are shipped from Italy.

Could someone please answer this? I don't see how it could possibly be fake, but...

I can't imagine that there stuff is fake. They don't seem to carry a lot of the easily faked items (LV, Gucci and Prada handbags). Of course, anything is possible, after all, Bluefly has had some problems with fake Prada bags and they do guarantee authenicity. I think the items are real, just from past seasons......also Yoox carries more obscure (to the masses, not TFS :) brands that many people have no interest in faking. Is there a market for fake Ann Dem, or fake Valentino.....

I think you can shop there with confidence.

I hadn't heard about this. Has Bluefly had any other problems of this nature?

I have a new code (valid until 9/30):

in the space indicated. Press “New Total” to operate the reduction.

I don't believe so.

A lot of those designer handbag sites (designergoodonline, metroluxury, styledrops, ashford, bluefly, etc.....I know them all as I tried looking for discounted ones for my wife, lol).....have fake goods. Some would say that the buyers at these shops just aren't trained well enough to discern fakes. I believe at Bluefly the problem was with returns. People ordered authentic bags from Bluefly and then promptly returned a replica, which of course the returns people simply restocked on their website. When the next person got that bag and tried to get it authenticated, of course they were told it was a fake.

I am unaware of any clothing issues at Bluefly, but they defintely have had bag issues. I remember my wife telling me that she had read that a bag or two on Bluefly's site (in that particular style) was never made by Prada....its such a risk these days.....

That sucks so incredibly much. I just checked out the selection for France and it is a million times better than the US selection. I'd gladly pay the extra shipping to get my hands on some of those European items. Why don't they just open up all the items to everyone? It would make so much more sense.
