The bag is ruined by the big "MARNI" written on it! The top is nice though.

Nay :ninja: Sorry

<Edit> I have to explain the Nay, of course. I think the bag looks cheap, it looks like one of those laminated plastic totes one finds in department stores with the name of the department store on it. Maybe it looks very different in real life? The top is O.K., but only if it's really cheap.

yep two things put me off the bag - the plastic bit & the blatant name....the top is £64 so not that heap. I like the shape/length of the top but I am not sure about the flower...

faust you can see the ones I am getting sent on the pollyanna website - asymetric black top with a slight pattern on the weave & a finely pleated black skirt. both cdg.

Very pretty!

I wonder how that store does. Is it a known shopping destination?

It's one of the very best shops outside London .

The owner , Rita Britton , will do ANYTHIG to help her customers .

The shop is situated in the wild industrial wastelands of Northern England , but it's at the junction of the major motorways , so people drive hundreds of miles to reach it .

If you read the info on the site , they also have a ' van ' ( sic ) , full of high fashion , in which they cover the whole of the UK , holding the equivalent of ' trunk shows ' , in hotels , etc .

Thanks for the info, kit! This is very inspiring...

i like the top helena...the skirt looks a bit difficult though...
too many pleats can be very unflattering...

changed my mind...just found a skirt in my closet like that...it's very cool...

i haven't worn it yet though...lalala...i'm so disgusting!!!...:ninja:

thats my concern softgrey - pleats equals huge hips! It one I'll need to see on before I decide. I have always liked that full pleated thing but I have never actually tried one on.... who mkes your one?

I am so off topic here. oops sorry.

If the website being discussed is Pollyanna then it's a wondeful place! I bought some way cool Yohji shoes in their sale last summer. Kit should charge money for that web adress...
