Yoox

You know, I am might pissed that the European Yoox websites carry Rick Owens, and the US one doesn't.

if you go the the top where it says "country" you can change that to different location.

I was looking at some balenciaga pants on Yoox (Men Fall/Winter collection) and found that they have a lady modeling for the pants. Does anyone know if they are actually for men or they just put them in the wrong section? I tried to select the size and they show up size 48. Should that be men sizing?
I think Yoox misplaced those Junya Watanabe jeans in the men section. Are they actually the Junya Watanabe man pink label? They have this guy modeling for those jeans and he looks like he's in pain wearing them (plus they are so short in length)

Has anyone else received damaged goods from Yoox? Last time I ordered I got a pair of gloves and a knit hoodie that were both frayed... And it was not by design.

Don't they check the stuff they sell?

Yoox has no problems mixing sexes and seasons. I don't think they have the most knowledgable people working at the low level positions.

Tott, send them back - they are good with returns. Call and complain, and they should refund you shipping fees as well.

Yes, I bought a Vivienne Westwood cardigan & the cuff was frayed and laddering. I repaired it myself though, as I wanted to keep it, but there's been a few other times where I've had to send Westwood items back. I'd be inclined to think a proportion of Yoox stock is seconds, but I think Italian manufacturing is generally not what it should be, so it's probably just representative of the quality that's out there.

I bought a pair of Miu Miu clogs and when they arrived, the stitching on one of the clogs was unaligned. I asked Yoox to exchange them but mine were the last pair  I had to settle for a refund.

^yes, i think they must be dealing with a lot of seconds. the embroidery on a skirt i ordered was coming undone in at least 8 places. so i had to return it. boo hiss.

The more I think about it, the more items come to mind that I've had to return due to faults....but this isn't the fault of Yoox, it's the shoddy manufacturing. I've had plenty of badly made items from non-discount Net-A-Porter.

has anyone got a YOOXCODE right at this moment???

ive been in YOOX fever these days and a code would come really handy:innocent:

thanks girls and boys:flower:

Hmm...my guess with the Balenciaga pants is that those might be the same cut/color as some they had in the women's section, so even though it's a size most frequently worn by men, they may have had a woman model the smaller size and used the picture in both places. If they're tagged a size 48, they should be fine.

However, I am quite sure all those jeans are Junya Watanabe Man Pink. I ordered a pair last season (before they started doing live models) and was very disappointed when these tiny little things arrived. I both called and e-mailed to stress to them the importance of observing the color of the label, but to no avail. Not only have they listed a bunch of new Man Pink in the wrong sex, but they put the very jeans I returned back into the men's section.

One other example...they have a female modelling the Jean Paul Gaultier Homme kilt that's listed in men's Fall/Winter.

Damn, I'm itching to know if these CCP pants have the overlock stitching. Why can't they take normal pictures?!?!?!?!?!

And why can't they have a better outfit than that horrific cream spandex turtleneck?!?!

Thanks The Baron. I am really interested in those Balenciaga bondage pants. Just want to make sure if those are in men style. I think I have read on another thread that you have one of those Balenciaga bondage pants (right?) how you like them? I am in search of some wide leg pants.

Yeah about those Junya jeans. It's funny how Yoox have their products modeled by the opposite sex. I guess they are trying to promote their clothes that way?! ^_^

Hmm...are these the pants you're looking at?

Looking at these, they seem to be cut a good bit fuller in the leg than mine (and of lighter material). Mine are like these (image from aloharag.com), only in an warmer/earthier tone of grey:

Maybe it's just that they were too big for the model, so they look wider-legged than they are, but the pocket design is a bit different on these, so it's quite possible they are indeed a wider cut.

Anyway, I love mine. They fit with a perfect degree of slimness, they're impeccably crafted, and the straps are fitted just tight enough to provide a gentle reminder of their existence, but never become annoying.

Yes The baron. I was looking at those on Yoox. I also looked at those they have on aloharag and I like the black one but they are like $600! (originally $1200 or something) wish they will take another 50% off or more. I like the grey one you have too but they only have one pair left and they are too big for me. Anyway glad to hear that you like yours. Thanks.

 I'm itching to pay the $7 (shipping) to find out if they are overlocked or not. What do you think?!

What the overlock stitching Faust?

Yoox has 10% off on most of their pants for Fall/Winter selection right now. Too bad Faust they don't have 10% off on that CCP pants.
I want that Balenciaga pants!
