A lot of bloggers are wondering about Agathe...personally I'm not too worried, The Coveted posted a picture from Agathe's facebook that was taken during Agathe's vacation...she looks healthy and I remember reading somewhere that she is trying to gain weight back? I suppose it's just an impromptu extension of her vacation from blogging. She's been gone for periods of time before (just not in the recent past) so I'm sure she'll be back eventually.

I don't like fashion blogs. I love those where bloggers take pictures of streetstyle not themselves. I have to admit that I don't know so many blogs. I have just seen some that are in Finnish. I just can't help myself thinking that it's a bit self-centered. Bloggers trying to make a big deal about their styles. I think that truly stylish people don't make a big fuss about their style, they just have it that's all. Blogs at least here in Finland should have more variety. Fashion tips, street style photos, store and catwalk news and stuff. Not just pictures of bloggers themselves... but this is just my opinion I don't have so much experience of different blogs that I shouldn't even say anything. Maybe I need to check some of those you have linked and brake my prejudgements...

^ printemps, I know where you're coming from. The majority of the fashion blogs I see pop up are just you know, average and simply post the uniform of jeans, blazer, and f21 oxford heels and editorials from foto_decadent! But in some aspects I really have to disagree with you--most fashion blogs are well aware that their style might not be TIPTOP, so they make up for it with a variety of subjects, like susie bubble's. She admittedly has awesome style but she diversifies with new designers, etc. I think it's just knowing what people would enjoy to read. I think you just need to find a blog that caters to that!

While streetstyle blogs like The Sartorialist and Garance Doré are daily must-visits for me, I do like blogs that are more personal. I really like it when bloggers discuss their views on certain trends, find different ways of wearing certain pieces, share their bargain buys, etc. Two that I like are Style Bubble and Kingdom of Style; while I might not wear what the bloggers wear, I still love looking at the creative outfits they put together.

I agree that most blogs are just so so. To be honest, I am sick of seeing people just taking photos of what they are wearing that day and posting them. Most of the time the pictures are rubbish and the outfits are nothing special.

And, as everyone else seems to be doing the shameless self promotion, I'm going to jump on that bandwagon to!

rollagasper i agree, kingdom of style is great! Not only is it fashion but small snippets of lesser known designers of furniture, jewellery etc. Love those two queens, worth a look guys!

Yeah, I love the queens. It was one of the first blogs that I discovered and I"ve been reading everyday ever since. The blogs I like are the ones where the blogger's aesthetic matches mine.

I personally enjoy reading blogs where people post their own outfits. I guess it depends whether you find the persons style interesting or inspiring. If you do, they can be fascinating.. if you don't, just move on.

I think blogs are personal by their very nature and the best bloggers (KoS, Style Bubble, etc) feature designers because they are genuinely passionate about them, not because that's what they think the readers want to see.
