Plan to start The Girls from Ipanema this week. I hope it's good, cause it doesn't look like it , it just looks easy enough to refresh my rusty Portuguese.


I finished Lenox Hill yesterday. Such beautiful series .. the photography is so well done but the topic itself (neuroscience) is presented with all its complexity in such a simple way. I stay away from anything medicine-related because.. I can't handle it and there were some parts that kind of turned my stomach and I had to cover my eyes but it's just so fascinating.. they really couldn't have chosen a better person/doctor to show this side of medicine.. I've been fangirling over Dr. Boockvar since his Cornell days, 10 years and counting? .. so happy Netflix is showing his work for everyone and his kindness and genuine involvement in every case. I'm also sad about the people that didn't make it... and looking forward to Season 2.
