Time to wrap up the Spring/Summer 2015 collections! :magic:

Tell us, what were your highlights from the show season?

A truly awful season… worst in recent memory anyways here are my faves not in order

Ammerman Schlosberg

Yohji Yamamoto

Jean Paul Gaultier

J.W. Anderson

Loewe

this must've been one of the worst seasons ever since i started following fashion. So depressing.

my top 10 however, is:

Yohji Yamamoto
Comme Des Garcons
Haider Ackermann
Erdem
Antonio Marras
Prada
Agnona
Gary Graham
Delpozo

with honorable mentions A.F. Vandevorst, Giorgio Armani, Junya Watanabe, Undercover and The Row.

this must've been one of the worst seasons ever since i started following fashion. So depressing.

Agree. I almost stopped commenting on collections because 80% of my reviews were negative.

Top 10 (alphabetical order:(

- Agnona: Pilati's taste is still unparalleled to me.
- Christophe Lemaire: structured romance :wub:
- Erdem: loved the balance of victorian white and modern color. gorgeous construction.
- Hermés: peaceful and sensual, sad to see Lemaire go.
- Lanvin - when Alber does dark and sexy I swoon every. single. time.
- Louis Vuitton: modern coolness.
- Michael Kors: 2 seasons in a row, I might be becoming a fan :ninja:
- Prada: easily the most innovative collection of the season.
- Proenza: effortlessly cool as always.
- Sharon Wauchob: a sweet sexiness.

My top 10:
* Rick Owens
* Agnona
* Yohji Yamamoto
* Prada
* Kenzo
* Haider Ackermann
* Christophe Lemaire
* The Row
* Saint Laurent
* Hugo Boss

Prada was the best, then Undercover, Hermes, Junya.... Want to say L.V. but can't, it was a bit predictable, also the styling, and we expect so much better from Nicholas.
Valentino will be the most copied.

Top Ten (Alphabetical Order:(

Bottega Veneta: Modern luxury!
Calvin Klein: Sleek, great color scheme.
Jil Sander: Proportioned,modern, and minimal. Curious to see more.
Loewe: Odd, but a lot of elements that I love. (The dress on Amanda though...)
Louis Vuitton: Bit Sci-Fi, 90's. Nicholas done it again for LV.
Maison Martin Margiela: Loved the Japanese influence.
Richard Nicoll: London highlight, neat to see experiment with various fabrics.
Sacai: Abe Japanese background goes thought her collections.
The Row: Easily the most luxurious collection.
Vetements: Just flat out cool collection, in their own lane.

My top 10 favorites from this season:

Christian Dior
Marni
Versace
Calvin Klein
Proenza Schouler
Carolina Herrera
Miu Miu
Alexander McQueen
Givenchy
Giambattista Valli

I´ve gotten to a point where I cannot say I like a whole collection. I do like certain garments and accessories here and there; but not a whole collection as years ago.

In alphabetical order:

AF Vandevorst
Anrealage
Iris van Herpen
Sharon Wauchob
Undercover
Vêtements

Agree with everyone else saying this is the worst season in a long time...

The Row, Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu were the best of a bad bunch for me.

I actually thought the season was ok. I remember seasons when I didn't love anything at all.

In no particular order:

A.F. Vandevorst

Yohji Yamamoto

Dries van Noten

Gareth Pugh

Marni

The Row

style, nowfashion

On a whole different level, but for the first time in years I liked Kors and Chloé. They are not conceptually appealing as the collections I mentioned in the list, but they were just so pretty in the best possible way.

I like Chanel and Saint Laurent, in that order. Everything else was just terrible, one of the worst seasons in recent history. Just terrible!

Really weird season, hoping it's a "transition season" since we saw a few influential designers (like Prada and Louis Vuitton) pushing away from all this minimalist sportswear that's plagued the runways since Phoebe Philo's return and maybe towards something more feminine and sexy and a bit more experimental than what's been seen lately.

Prada
Miu Miu
Louis Vuitton
Undercover
Givenchy
Tom Ford
Chloe
Missoni
Rochas

I'm in the minority because I thought there were some good collections or maybe just more open this season.

Coach - route 66 hitchhiker vibe
Altuzarra - sexy gingham
Alexander Wang - Stan Smith dresses
Thakoon - Simplified Dries
Lanvin - Alber really loves women
Hermes - uber chic
Gaultier - fashion camp with serious tailoring

Over already! Every time New York starts, it seems to take forever to get to Milan and Paris. Then suddenly, Paris is over! :lol:

-THE ROW
-marni
-hermes
-jil sander
-aganovich

-chalayan
-christophe lemaire
-dries van noten
-rochas
-simone rocha

despite the ending, i must also give props to chanel's beautiful set and background.

Givenchy (Strong, sexy and beautiful. My top favorite collection. Im a little embarrassed to say that seeing the whole Kimye craze is going on with the brand, but it's a beautiful collection this season.)
Lanvin (Dark and sexy. The tailoring is fabulous.)
Chloe (It's as if Phoebe came back! The true Chloe aesthetic is back!)
Isabel Marant- Laid back, cool and wearable!
Prada (An homage to the vintage Prada we all love)

Honorable mentions to Etro, Michael Kors and Louis Vuitton (I have mixed feelings about LV). All in all, New York and Milan was really bad for me.

Seasons now come in two flavors, horrible or mundane. Spring 2015 was a big serving of banality. JPG, a legend, showed his last RTW collection, Mugler debuted a new creative lead, and OdlR probably ahowed his last collection yet the most exhilarating moment was the return of Gemma.

Thankfully amongst the flat notes there were a FEW brilliant collections:
1. The Row
2. AF Vandevorst
3. Hérmes

Jonathan Saunders deserves adulation for showing a WONDERFUL collection, his best to date.

Top 10 (in this order, more or less)
