I think we can all agree that Paris was the best city of the month by far.

Top 10 (Alphabetical Order)

Christopher Kane ( Kane is one of the best tactile designers around)
Hermès ( A gentle end to the season, the color palette was stellar)
Louis Vuitton ( A clear vision of Nicolas and LV created an amazing show, excited to see were he's headed)
Marc Jacobs ( The whole production, the mood of the clothing, fabrics vast improvement from last season)
Marios Schwab ( Very shape, sexy and dark. My kind of women.)
Marni ( I'm all about different proportions and Marni always delivers. Also the use of color was great)
Narciso Rodriguez ( One of the few minimalism designers around, sharp silhouettes and he's continuous use of things he done before and transform them is excellent)
Sacai ( Abe's innovative designers mixed with Asian influence is unique and interesting)
T By Alexander Wang ( Technical mixed with Sporty and it nod to Menswear)
The Row ( The proportions, the absence of details was what made the collection every interesting)

These collections weren't posted on tFS and I don't even know where to find decent pics of them online. I'm curious about them. Links?

I successfully ignored Nowfashion all season because it has become such a pain in the butt. Nearly impossible to save pics from there now, and slows down my whole computer. I guess I missed out on a few great things because of that, though  Y Project looks stunning, and not very much like Glenn Martens' other work I've seen. Risto has some gorgeous pieces, too.

Thank you so much, Scott!

that was another issue too…haven't been able to save anything from nowfashion for a long time now. and they're the only one who has covered those specific presentations.

btw, melitta baumeister you can find at style.com under vfiles or on the vfiles website,as part of their endeavour in NYC to have a platform for young designers. sort of an alternative to the same-y platforms going on in other cities….and open to designers not based specifically in the states. rihanna famously wore pieces from a couple of the designers--melitta and hyein seo(antwerp grad)-- who were part of that show,at CdG this past week. certainly not for everybody these designers but definitely a nice break up in this sea of sameness. i would add that as well to my list because i thoroughly enjoyed that experience and applaud them for trying to bolster interesting talent for a change instead of commerce driven.

^^^ There is a very simple workaround to the javascript for saving the file:

- Click on the thumbnail to enlarge
- On the URL field, add -bigthumb.jpg to the link. Don't forget to include the dash
- Click enter and that will lead you to the pic's original page where the save options will be available

(This is the workaround for Safari, but should work just the same for other browsers.)

As for the site slowing down your computer Psylocke: Perhaps it needs more RAM?
