Nicole's bag is the Large. I don't think YSL did the suede bags in Oversized.

just noticed when i took out my bag the other day that the handles have left an indention mark on the back of my bag...i haven't even used it yet, arggh..

does anyone know how to fix this? this has happened to one of my other bags in the past, and i thought i was being careful. can anyone give me advice?

I just got a note in the mail from Bergdorf Goodman saying on June 13 (12-6) you can get your Muse monogrammed - complimentary with purchase.

That sucks! It's probably been pressed really hard against the bag ... I would try to massage it out, hopefully the indentation will disappear with time. Otherwise, take it to a leather pro and see what they say. Sorry to be of no help, but I do feel your frustration.

Ivory Muse arrived today (DH hates her!?) - she is really pretty (I think) - but I should return her if I want the Orange Muse this fall instead.

I think it's pretty too. I guess it would "work" more if I lived in a different climate? It seems like a warm weather bag, i.e. if I lived in LA or Miami or Atlanta - I could use it more year 'round. But I live in cold snowy damp Upstate NY. It would be great until september - then I have a feeling it would just look out of place?

^^^Me too! I already pre-ordered it even though it won't arrive for months! I know it's not a color for everyone - but i'm a huge fan of that hermes-like Orange color.

I really hope it lives up to my (huge) expectations of her!

wow, i love nicole's muse... the yellow, but don't like it in suede. too high maintenance.

electric, that happened to someone else on the thread... can't remember who and if the indentation came out on its own.

beaux, it sounds like you really want the orange. if you're not feeling the ivory, then return it. go with your heart.

If you scroll back through this thread you will find a lot of pictures of the Ivory Muse, either worn by other members, or carried by celebs.

^^Yes, I ordered it from YSL boutique - it seems like neither NM or saks will be carrying the Orange for the Fall.

I KNOW and AGREE. way too early. I think the oak must have been a mini release...bc its pre order on saks. I think YSL houston hasn't gotten it or they just did if they did.

I think YSL is going to have a BIG season with shoes and bags this season.

I hope things START trickling in late late July.....

I want to see the distressed patent in burgundy Muse that the SA at NM told me about months ago. She had seen it IRL - a sample - supposed to be part of the A/W 06 collection. She said it was absolutely stunning. Anyone know anything about this color?

I ordered from the Houston YSL - but i'm going to call NYC tomorrow just to check and see if they have any additional information about when the Orange will arrive.
The SA I spoke with said that September was their date that they have in their book (whatever that is?) for the arrival of the Orange. She also said that some colors were "pre-fall" (like maybe the Oak) and arriving sooner - and others were only listed as "fall" <--- which is what the Orange was.

As much as i'm dying to see the Orange IRL - my wallet could use a break, so september would be fine with me.

I also wish I could track down more photos of the Orange just to see how the color looks on other websites, etc. You know how much lighting and flash can change things. Who knows, maybe the Orange will arrive and it totally won't work for me?

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed though!

maybe that's the 'chocolate' patent.....
