ah congrats on your puchases! I must say mine had held up amazingly well. Yes it has a couple of scratches on the front, but because the leather is so tough, it really holds up to my life. I have had issues with color flaking off the sides of the handles but I"m assuming this is due to being exposed to rain and just wear and tear. My Jimmy Choo ramona is pratically falling apart because the leather is so delicate and just can't hold up.

I have the same color flaking off the sides of the handles. I got nail polish that matches the color, painted over it carefully and it looks a lot better.

^^I prefer the older buffalo leather, the new leather looks like it would scratch and mark easily.

i saw a new muse yesterday at neiman's...
it has stiffer, shinier leather (not patent though) and comes with silver hardware...

this new one is in calfskin similar to hermes box calf (but i'm not sure if it's as stiff as hermes box??)...there's a whole thing going on at psycho forum about the muse in "calf" skin because certain stores are calling the buffalo leather calf skin when it's really not. this new one really is

YSL Black Patent Muse

I bought this bag and wore it maybe twice! The bag is so heavy and I fell in love with the Downtown more. I am dieing to buy a Balenciaga. Should I sell the Muse to a consignment shop or just keep it?

^hmm...not sure..i would sell it on ebay. you get more money than a consignment store. i am contemplating selling mine as well..but its such a classic bag that I am holding out..i am actually selling my balenciaga because i think they are kind of done now..
