hmmm try on the black in person! I'm telling you...it's an odd bag in that color.

Thats so much GG, i love tfs because people are always so helpful. I'm really on the verge with the muse and before I have to go through all the trouble of tracking one down I'm just worried about the longevity of the bag. I don't do big bag purchases too often and I'm not sure how long it will last in white....I mean the shape is quite classic but still. Thoughts?

Meg -- Although white is pretty big right now I dont think it'll ever be "out", kind of like patent leather. I think this bag is a great mix of being classic and simple but at the same time not boring or too plain. I think it has lasting potential

I totally agree. Its one of those "GREAT" bags. I think the spy is too. beautifully made and not too stylistic you know?

I am not going to lie I still like the aqua. I think having the black is a good staple....red is a good one....red would look smashing on a black bag too....

but i love the aqua!

question meg: do you like the muse in any of the other colors? because you seem really uncomfortable with the white and my philosophy is if you need to be convinced you love a bag, then the bag isn't for you. but if you love the shape of the muse, then get it in a color you are comfortable with. the dark brown is lovely and per the ysl website, they will be issuing it in anthracite for fall which it think will be hot.

Karma is kind of like a "pat on the back" for helping out. You just post a little comment on whatyou liked about the post, and everyone can check what people wrote at the bottom of the User CP page. You also get points for the karma you recieve, you get more points for krma left my people who have more points. I think the only thing the points do is decide how much karma you can give out daily.

GuessGirl, I like the aqua scarf If you can pick two, get the orange scarf too! You can mix & match with your wardrobe...the aqua would be nice when you're wearing jeans. The orange would be cool when you're in black outfits!

GG, the muse on you. I'm glad you've decided to keep it. As for the AM scarves, I'd vote for the green/yellow or orange/white. I have the orange & it's gorgeous! It's actually more like an orangey red. I'm also considering ordering the green/yellow too I did ask the SA about the red when I ordered my 3 scarves from AM London & she told me that it looks like a dark pink. I suppose the red has some pink hue in it?

Thanks for all your help everyone. I do love the shape of the bag and the way it looks on, I just over analyze all my decisions. And my concern is that I tried the bag on in black and it just didn't look right on me and I think black might be a bit too briefcase-y. Esp. because I'm debating this bag versus the Choo Ramona. I suppose I could always phone around, see if I can get a Muse here in London and pop in and try it on. Thats really the only way to tell!

Well I made my ultimate decision and went for the navy ramona instead! I'm going to pick it up today! I can't wait! I ultimately think this was the right decision for me as I loved the ramona from the beginning and I think the Muse looks amazing on others but doesn't quite work on me

that might be a good idea! The Ramona is possibly just a this season bag...while will be great forever...Choo might not make it next season.

The Muse will surely be made next season and they are a reasonable price so maybe you can pick up next fall!

I watched Ophra yesterday and she had a special on Marc Jacobs, Barbie and Jimmy Choo....

...all the models carried the Ramona...and it looked so great....in fact the head of Jimmy Choo....I can't think of her name....carries the Croc Ramona!

yeah Tamara Mellon.....the ramona might be just this seaon but that doesn't really bother me but thankfully it's not as well known as some other bags out there, which is what also appealed to me about the muse.
