Congrats Had! Chevre is definitely goat so your bag is made of kidskin leather. That's all I can say at the moment as I don't have answers to your other questions. I am looking into getting a Muse myself so I am almost on the Muse band wagon.

You should definitely jump on board! It's funny because I tend to stay away from IT bags, but the Muse just kept calling....

And Shining Monkey is a spray protectant used for luxury car interiors, that some purse owners use to protect their bags (Louis Vuitton owners use it to protect the vachetta)

it's really not much different, but i understand now that the leather has the wax coating on it ...

It's really very pretty, it looks like the leather has already been softened up. I think I want a black one too now, maybe I'll get one in the distressed patent thats coming out.

If you getting another one, I'd add in the couple exrta hundred and get a lepard. The chocolate is close to the black it seems but the lepard so different and fabulous.
