Tonight a girl I've always considered super stylish stopped in her tracks to gawk over my muse. She wouldn't shut up about it, and finally said, "is it like a coach or something?"

yeah...or something is right...I wanted to protect my muse's ears from having to hear herself compared to a coach!!

^^ How would someone "super stylish" not know the Muse!! You should have told her it was a Coach and sent her on a wild goose chase!

the love of my life

i've always had an interest in the Muse b/c i saw its unisex appeal, but when i saw a picture in out magazine of two men carrying one of the female versions (i hate the male tote), well, it was just calling me, i HAD to get one!

i just got the black oversized muse yesterday, and im in LOVE! it's just too classic, even as a man i think it looks adorable - and i can feel comfortale carrying it around, which i cant say the same for some other experiments ive done with buying IT bags

my camera's really crappy so the best pics i could take of it were "myspace pic"-esque ones, but ugh, i LOVE this bag!

I am back from my vacation and I came back with a LOVELY new Muse! It is really beautiful. I ended up getting the medium sized one. I had the large tan on order at Saks, but once I tried on this size, I knew the large was too large for me. What is really odd is the color. The SA kept saying it was bronze, but it is much darker than the bronze color on the NM website. It definitely has a sheen to it. It's almost a dark brown metallic color, but it has the gold hardware instead of silver. The tag just says "brown brown". LOL. I had never heard of or seen this size/color before, so I went for it! The SA said there were only 3 of this type in all the NM stores in the country, so I took that as a sign. Has anyone heard of any other metallic colors in the Muse besides the bronze and anthracite?

I am so happy!

Has anyone checked on the Muse on ebay??? A few are really bad fakes, but some look very realistic. Hard to tell.

I was just curious.


If I get one, I'm going to make sure it's real............so only from a reputable dealer like Neimans etc for me.B)

I don't like the rive gauche bag...but I do like the east west version for a small and compact bag...easier to carry

i am liking the east west muse. uh oh!!!! now should i forget about getting the large black muse and wait for the east west? perhaps i should get the large canvas muse and then in the fall get an all leather east-west!!!

Ooooh! I'm loving the East West bag, esp. if it comes in a fun color. What happened to the lock? Looks as if it now functions as a turn dial flap closer.

does anyone get why people even make handheld bags with detachable shoulder straps? maybe they're awkward only on me because i'm short, but the bag always ends up hitting me on my hips/booty all day long.

They may do it so men could wear them too, or I know my mom is most comfertable with bags that hit at her hips so I guess there must be others that feel the same way.
