yes, it's definitely a reslient, tough leather, but it softens up soooo much with use, it becomes a floppy, not so structured bag.

Mine has become a little slouchy ... I've been putting it flat on its side when I put it down instead of just right side up; I'm hoping it helps stave off the "slouchiness" a little.

Great bag. So much personality.

I may be left behind but i'm seriously thinking of buying my first muse .. I fell in love with a dark brown calfhair one, i think i saw it in the neimanmarcus website.
one problem though, the reason i'm still holding my desire to purchase it is that i'm scared that it'll be out of season soon. Do you girls have any prediction as how long will the muse last? Help..!!

i didnt buy it for a while and wasnt intending to. in fact i only started liking it and bought one. love it.. and trust me it will be a good wardrobe staple.
if i were you i would get a muse in normal leather though and maybe wait for the sales to start.. you might get a good deal!

Aside from the calfhair muse is so adorable, i found it to be on sale for 699 euro (around $900) which is 50% off but i'm not sure is it considered to be a good deal or not, or should i just go for the normal leather ?

I have a large black leather muse, and I absolutely adore it. I get compliments all the time, and I like that it doesn't totally scream designer bag.

I plan on carrying mine for awhile.

yeah I carry my Muse everyday as my everyday bag and absolutely love it. It's a great sort of statement bag but it's not loud. honestly it saves a lot of my outfit from the depths of depravity since it's so chic.
