ok I have this bag somewhere in my closet *I remember!* I never used it  Thanks for bringing it up!

jun, I saw your post on the new bag purchases thread and it reminded me of how much I adore the nadja. Everyone's bags on this thread are amazingly beautiful.

I know it's not a latter day it-bag but I think that's why I love it. I'm an absolute tom ford ysl devotee -my only designer bags are two mombasas. One is a basic black mombasa which I have worn to death and still smells like new leather, one is the most gorgeous deep tan mombasa messenger which I love to death (and is big enough for files and laptops) but is just a little heavy -my boyfriend keeps stealing it and staring at himself with it on appreciatively :D! They're simply the best quality bags I have, and whenever I go try on the new chloes and miu mius I'm disappointed by the comparison.

Anyway, for nadja owners I have a few questions:

1. How well does the suede hold up? I really abuse my bags (can't avoid light rain, for example) and I'd hate to ruin a beautiful suede bag.

2. How often does a leather one come up on ebay? I'm used to madly hunting for a mombasa, have no idea how long I have to wait for a leather nadja to appear. How much do they normally go for?

3. Can I get them from anywhere else but ebay?

Thank you so much, karma's up for grabs if you reply :P!

i try to answer with my two cents^_^ i actually just got my suede nadja in the mail today and i am in LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i have a feeling it will be harder to keep clean than my leather version. It's butter soft, super fine lambsuede, but from the specimens i have seen on ebay in the suede genre, they seem to pick up dirt along the edges and backside quite a bit. I'm going to have to be very careful with mine.

i'll post pics tomorrow sometime, as it's dark here now....and they'll come out all dark.

so #1....i would say that the suede bags are definatly more maintanence than the leather one. but, they do make suede products to protect them with. i plan on spraying mine tomorrow with kiwi suede protectant, just to be safe.

#2 The past two weeks, there seems to be a large # of nadjas suddenly popping up on ebay, because prior they were far and few inbetween. Although the majority of them have been suede (i've watched three suede khaki ones end, one of which i bought, one small leather clutch and a red and black leather one that was overpriced and didn't sell) normally, the small goes for about $75-$150, the medium (which i just bought) between $175-$300, and the large ($250-$550) it really depends on how the seller listed it, if it's listed badly, it wont come up in as many searches, and thus you can sometimes score a great deal. Some are just overpriced from the beginning and they sell with one bid. Other's get into bidding wars and go for more than usual.

#3 I think you can get them on other place, ask princessimp....she sent me a link to a red and black one ( i want to say overstock.com or something) but your going to pay a lot more and you have a limited color selection, basically what wasn't popular (like the two tone and the polka dot ones)

so i hope that helps!:flower: im working on getting the sizes and colors down so i can post them here so im trying my best to save pics of the bags when i see them on ebay, so we'll have a nice lil referance photo area too. let me know if i ca answer anything else;)

yah...i have it on my watch list just to see how much it goes for. that's the exact same one as what i just purchased too :)

jun, looking forward to pictures of your suede!

uberwench, it really depends on your luck when it comes to snagging a leather nadja, but like Jun pointed out, it really depends on the search keywords that you use. From personal experience I paid around an average of $300+ for each of my nadjas.
Sometimes they pop up on yoox or bluefly, but it's really the luck of the draw. I saw some nadjas on overstock.com before, but they really had the wackiest designs there.

yah, lately the leather ones have been more rare. i paid a bit more for my leather one, but the seller i puchased it from sells designer bags but they are generally a bit pricey. BUT they are very reputable (sell b-bags, chanel, etc.) and it was brand new with tags....

you may want to message them on ebay *personalshoppers* as they have a good rep selling bags to members here and i think if you ask her, she may be able to locate one for you :) good luck!

Can't tell from the pictures, but what's the diference between the small, medium and large? What's the length of the largest, anyone knows?
