Zac Posen F/W 10.11 New York

Not as much of an eyesore as some of his previous collections. I actually like some of the dresses. Great to see Coco and Hana, even though Hana was a bit random. That is her isn't it?

Yeah, that's Hana. Heard she's trying to "make a comeback"

i'm glad to see Coco too...I like this, nothing amazing but compared to his usual mess it's a definite upgrade.

I don't know what to say about this, yet again it looks more a summer collection than a winter one...and still better than his previous show which was just revolting
I'm already drooling over the fur coats though, they are just DIVINE :woot: the one on Lindsey W. has been already taken by Anna Dello Russo

"Ick" seems like too much of an understatement.

It's a sad reality that the clothes he designed early in his career when he was fresh out of school had more taste and refinement than his current stuff. As a second tier NYFW collection this would be tacky and cheap looking. But from a house in the high end of the market?

Awful.

the velvet dresses are ok, but pared with the red tights, it looks hideous.

except horrible furs, the rest is great ! and fresh !!! coco is wonnnnnderful like the dress she wears

I don't really like it as a whole, but there are some darling dresses I would definitely wear.

And good LORD, those furry shoes are ugly as hell...

After seeing his last few collections, I was like what tha hell lol, but this one is damn good, although I dont like the co,ored tights and the velvet dresses. I loves the furs and the over sized coats and the suits are to die for, Zac is back people^_^

i refuse to slash him once again, one more season.
i'll only say he should be ashamed to see how a 26 year old Wang and the also pretty young Altuzarra were able to do far better with velvet than this "thing" he came up with.

Hmmm. I like some of it... very much... But what I don't like - I really don't like.

Some of the fabric is gorgeous, though.

I've never been a fan of Zac Posen, but is pretty clear that he's been falling down from a few season ago till now... his collections are horrible and absurd.
Comparisons are hideous but it's really sad to see a genious like Christian Lacroix closing his firm for money issues, and mediocres like Zac Posen and Alexander Wang have so many support from the media... and clearly they're both very, very, very overated.

It's a lot better than his most recent collections. That said, it's kind of boring and uninspiring. Not a fan of the last few pieces either.

What is this?? A collaboration between Zac Posen and Christian Siriano??? I seriously do not understand why this guy is still in business!

This collection is much more better than last one.

Wow some hits and misses here. But somewhat better than his previous offerings.

Finally!!! Zac is back. There's actually a good balance here of costume and wearability. His last few collections have just been tacky, gaudy, and horribly styled. This reminds me of his first collections. I think the reason why he is still around is because his designs always have drama in them. For me they are a bit old Hollywood and a lot of women want to have that feeling of old Hollywood glamour that he delivers so well in his day wear. I'm also surprised there are so many complaints about the red velvet, they would work great for holiday parties and such.
