I havent posted in this thread in ages
even though I do read occasionally, I hardly post..........
Just to give you a brief update, many of you might have already known that I had put my womens wear business on hiatus.
For the last two years I have been living a kind of "Normal life" somewhat away from fashion.
I Got married to a beautiful woman and kind of settled down a bit...........if you know what I mean.
However, I cannot help my self when it comes to creating, there is the angst to survive in this business, but there is a greater angst to walk away from it, because then the question remains.............what do I do with this talent that I have.
Over the last year or so, with the encouragement and support of a few friends, I have been working.
I moved into a much bigger workspace, I have retooled my studio completely, its better now than it ever was, with all the first rate tools and equipment I need!
I have been making mens bags and other accessories, and selling them to a few stores and personal clients.
I even did a capsule collection last season that sold very well to private Clients.
I am now in the final stages of finish up my Spring 2011 menswear collection, so guess I'm back in business again.
Wiser now, and more at peace with myself and the industry.
I will be doing a small presentation of the line during NY Fashion week.
I Know I've had many supporters here at this forum, so as such, I am extending an invitation to those who would want to come and see the work that I have been doing
