OK
It will be 21 looks ansd no more,
i have five pieces to finish,
maybe more if have time
but have to finish five pieces
2 tops
2 dresses and
one trenchcoat
i still have the accessories (minimal) to be made
and i cannot find the leather i need to customize the shoes

aspiring designers.....................
you have to love this with your heart to really do it

sometimes i feel like quitting
but................
there's just too mich at stake,

another day i will explain the above statement

after all...........................
i am not sure i could find professional happines doing another profession

pray for me
i really need it

but im not in manhattan
i do need help
but............
i think i will be fine with the clothes
and supplies
i will get it in the morning on my way to my dayjob
God, i need another day off
i wont take it though because i need the money

after all of this madness is over maybe we can meet an discuss other ways in which you can help
there will be a lot of work to do after the show is finished.
a new chapter begins because then...............
i have to sell the collection

again slow day today
only two tops

i have
one top
two
dresses
and one trench to do
the problem is go back on my dayjob tomorrow
so i can only work nights for the rest of this week
i will be finished though
my biggest concern now is................
i still havent found the leather i bought to work on the shoes.
kinda sucks.
cause.
i wanted to take it to work with me to have them cut
as we have very good cutting eqipment there
i could go in early and cut before the workday begins.

just have to do something else until i find it,

Zamb, hope you'd find all the things you need for the finishing touches. Not to worry too much though, your collection I've seen has been pure, rich in ideas and consistent. Your clothes have a lot of painstakingly sewn and refined details, so make sure you post BIG pictures. It's the last leg now, give it that final burst of energy.

i just hope everything works out fine
im at my dayjob now,

the collection is almost finished
just three items left to be made
maybe more if i have time

my biggest problem is i still havent found
the shoe leather as yet

my sister will be looking in the storage today
hopefully it is there

ITS 9PM
ive been home since 7:30.
im feeling very low right now
probably the lowest i've felt since i started working on this collection
i feel like my zest and vitality has been sapped from me
today i was at work and i felt drained...................
almost as if i wanted to pass out
i am going on fumes right now

gotta will my way to the finish line

the second prototype of my labels came today
the lady called, but i just did'nt have the strength to go
and look at them

maybe later i will feel better
whats really dissappointing is.........
i can't find the leather i want to customize the shoes.
i searched everywhere
my sister searched the storage,
she didnt find it
i came home and did a second search and did'nt find it
it set me back two hours
(time that was scheduled to finish a top i started last night)

it is really dissapinting
i have to figure out an alternative by tomorrow
i really was looking forward to this

the problem is
this is not leather you can go to the store and just buy
it is a really unusual, almost neon metallic leather
with flowers of the same colour embossed onto it
i had it in blue, pink and green.
( i was only gonna use the pink and blue)
in a bag with black crocodile skin

all of it is missing
its really diappointing
really

could someone have really come to my atelier and stole my leather?
i dont want to think this
but............................

every piece of it is missing
the only thing i have left is a bag of black croc skin that i took to work a while back to make a prototype of the Polis Bag
this was some of the crock skin
that was in the bag with the other skins

i paid a lot for it
i would pay much more to get it back right now.............
if it were possible.

as all my vision was to use this leather
i can't think of any alternative right now



anyway gotta go
someway somehow i have to finish this...............

Yes zamb, you have to finish this, and finish this well. The only difference b/w the winner and the loser is that the winner run and finish the last mile, no matter how tired he/she is. You have come this far, and I am sure you will have it complete well. For the leather, they are out of your control at this moment. If it's around, it's going to show up when you are not looking for it (it always happens); if it is not, you will have to find alternative. Don't feel too bad about it at this moment, and just finish the top and let your creativity fly~

i just saw pics from the s/s 06 collection you did - i LOVED it, and i cant wait to see this one

it seems so difficult to get your name out there, especially without lots of money and collections... have you ever considered project runway? id love to see you on the show and judging from your last collection and the sound of this one, i think youd have a really good shot at winning

i hope you find your leather!

the top is finished
started the trenchcoat
i abandoned the original trench design and opted for something more intricate.
the good thing about this is that the new one will be more interesting,
the bad thing is that im pressed for time and a more complicated design is more difficult to execute.
this is how my brain works
it never really allows me to do things the simple and easy way.
sometimes i love it.................
sometimes i hate it.

still havent found the leather
seems like a hopeless case.
no time to cry.
i have to soldier on
Im having a shot of rum and fruit juice.
this is the last one for now.
cant affort to become a alcoholic

i need all my faculties
and i made a personal promise to myself to never become a drinker.

i am taking the night off tonite
not really feeling tired, but drained

i need to re-organize my schedule
i have to be up at six
get to the garment district by 7:45
down to Soho by 8:30 and
at my dayjob by 9:30

i have four days (three actually as i dont work sabbath.
i have one full day on sunday
im confident if there are no more overnight surprises i should be fine

i will try to find a substitute tomorrow for the leather

damn!
more spending again

It's horribly frustrating with the leather...and guess what, they usually turn up *after* the show. Can you pull off a Scarlett O'Hara and improvise with some wicked fabric or even the shiny croc? If not, don't lose heart, they might not matter as much as you think. On with the show and bask in your sweet moment. Make it last....enjoy the compliments.flower:

i bought something else this morning

just didnt want to present the collection without the original idea i had for the shoes

a little bit ambivalent about the material i bought
but lets see............
i will be staying late at worktonite to make the accessories
so that sat-sunday i can be at home to finish
the last two pieces and organize everything

i just pray all will be ok
