does anyhone know if the Zarais cheaper in Spain than in the rest of the EU? all those countries have EurosbutI wonder if they still make things more expensive outside Spain.thanks

Yes, Zara is cheaper in Spain. A pair of shoes can cost 60€ in Spain, and 60 pounds in the UK. I'm guessing is the same in the rest of Europe, even if they have euros too.

Right now, I'm so disappointed with Zara, I cant find anything attractive in their collection.
Plus the clothes are so expensive and quality has downgraded so much that I almost feel like some H&M clothes are better made...

are their sizing in jeans true to size?
the TRF jeans are weird, they have extremly long legs and narrow hips. I prefer the zara woman jeans with slim yet long legs and wider hips (I wear a 27, in zara jeans 34/36).

Things I like about Zara:

-Summer sandals...... though they only last one summer because the sole is very cheap cardboard.

-Their trenches. Saw an olive suede one during winter time, LOVELY.

-Frequent new arrivals

-The CHEAP basics

-The knitwear is great quality

The cheap, yet good basics are huge plus, yes. I have this very comfy lambswool sweater i paid 20 euros for in Spani 2-3 yrs ago, worn it maybe 200 times and still wear it. It has one hole in a sleeve, but other than that, it's still very nice.

I know that Zara is cheaper in Spain and Portugal as the rest of Europe. My friends bought some cardigans which cost e.g. 19.99€ in Germany and it was in Lissabon for 14.99€.

I love that Zara started selling S sizes for men. I had to buy M for ages, but saw a brown jacket in S and bought it on the spot!

Zara is a spanish brand, so it is much cheaper here. Matter of fact, it's kind of high street fashion :innocent: similar to H&M

I went to Italy this fall and went to Mango (also a Spanish store, so I guess the pricing policy should be similar). They just got new stock from Spain and were adjusting the prices. A jacket that was 79 Euro in Spain was 99 Euro in Italy.

a tshirt i bought in Barcelona was like 16e there , and in their Italian store it was like round 25, and it was similar just other way around with Benetton italy/spain

I like Zara's designs but close up the quality didn't look that well (but it's been a while since I was in last) and the worst thing was the clothes were all over the place! Sweaters and jackets just lying on the concrete floor ... I understand that if there's a huge sale going on but it was just such a filthy mess that I was too put off to buy or even check out anything.

I'm from spain and i don't like zara's clothes... I think that there are better brands than zara... and here in spain everyone wore zara's clothes... sometimes we are like twins, the same clothes again and again... I hate it :(

^^ that's kinda true... my girlfriends are afraid to buy certain pieces for instance cause they know they'll get to a club and everybody will be wearing the same thing... no matter what, they still buy a lot (6 euros sweatshirts, 3 euros tees... it's crazy!!!)

Zara has one major issue!

they produce decent things with nice designs and often the quality isnt too bad.
im taling about their 100% silks, cottons or mix of both
BUT
the problem is the LINING!!!

what is the point to have a great quality dress if the lining is like plastic?
i never got this?

not always. i mean some dresses could seriously do without that horrendous lining. IMO there is no need:)
