I love Zara!! Zara is great! They even opened one in Hong Kong too (where I am working right now). I go there often

Hmm...i think i saw a really cute safari styled suit somewhere by zara...very sleek looking

i think it depends where the store is located what merch they get....
because i specifically checked when i was in eruopoe because i was curious...and somewhat irate......

but the h&m and the zara had the exact same merch at the same time as the ny store...:flower:

and i agree with hanne...bebe is really not as good in terms of the quality of the design...zara does very high end knockoffs...i think it's closer to club monanco or banana republic...but more fashionable and less pricey...

they have a bunch of good boho stuff now i think...and some nice summer dresses...but i'm not ready for summer dresses yet...:ninja:

I agree. It's a bit too early for summer things for me. Its still cold over here
The last time I went there, all the summer/spring things were out. I really liked their selection although I know that the ethnic summer style will be over done...

ive never really pciked up anyhting from zara.. somehow ... have some stuff from there tho ..normal stuff .... its ok

After reading your post, I think I'm going to pay more attention to zara..The first impression about zara store in helsinki was that they don't have much clothes...and store seemed so little.

Here zara has a big store with 3-4 floors. ^_^

I'll go to Vienna soon, i'm curious about their stores. :)

There's finally men's collection in the website too. I'm quite dissapointed though.

They never show every item in the showroom section of the website, you're better off going to the store and see what they've got. Although, yes, I do feel a bit dissapointed by what I saw there.

Among the knockoff stores (like Banana Republic, Club Monaco....) I think Zara is the best because there is just so much selection, not just classic stuff.

In the summer, they have the best sales ever. Most of their leather sandals and shoes (which are all VERY VERY VERY NICE, though the sole is VERY VERY VERY bad and slippery) go from 129-89 to like 39-19$!!!! I always grap at least 5 pairs when they're on sale. They're unbelievably cute and original. Most of their shoes, you won't be able to find such unique styles in other shoe stores.

Zara basically does knock offs of Chanel, Miu Miu, Prada, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs....... And it's actually pretty decent. Except for maybe the sandals (the sole is made of CARDBOARD that's very ugly once the thin coat of paint which covers it scratches away), the quality is very decent, I've never had any problem with their stuff. Some really nice handbags as well, I love their suede hobos.

We have one store downtown in Montreal and during summer time, and especially during the sales period, there's always huge lines in front the changing rooms.

If you want to buy stuff from Zara, wait when there are sales and grab as much as you can. Zara TRF is cute too.

There's one on the south shore too, helluva lot less crowded (therefore more stuff left) :D

^ I know but it's so far.... But when my size isn't left in Montreal, I go to the South Shore store.

Wow sounds like the quality is really bad.

I think the quality is ok overall actually, for the price.

I think i just had some bad luck.

has anyone seen the balenciaga moto bag knockoffs in zara? I know that they do clothing knockoffs but it's kind of funny to see them knocking off bags too. I don't know who would buy that..

some of the design rip-offs are ok, but mostly, i find they use REALLy inferior fabrics. some really terrible synthetic blends that just don't wash well. ok for one-season wear, but not even close to the overall quality of club monaco, banana republic, or j. crew IMO

I love Zara.... sadly, when I go back home to Puerto Rico, the store's look is amazing, so boutiquey, down here in Miami is another Rave

BTW, that motorcycle bag, is it a good knockoff?? :innocent: I've been dying to get one :ninja:
