I went to Zara (Santa Monica) yesterday and I was impressed by the clothing and the quality. I wasn't too impressed with the lack of color. Mostly black/white/tan/cream/browns/gold in the store.

Zara used to be a lot cheaper For a highstreet store and the quality they sell I think it's a bit too much.. Last week I bought 3 normal items and I had to pay +- €150...they have some nice designs and jackets but I loathe their crap quality fabrics!

Yeah, their shoes were boring as well. The lighting in the store was brighter and more vibrant than their clothing.

yesterday I went to Zara and have seen the balenciaga "knock off" , I wouldn't call it knock off , more it's inspired by balenciaga but the leather was really nice, very soft but I wouldn't pay 100€ (ca 130 US$) as a student :-p

Zara is a great store!!! It's trendy and cheap...you can buy the basic stuf there

i had a very quick look last week and it was far too boring,
their colours are like 'dead' and they seem to be going much more conservative than they used to be..
hopefully i'll visit again on Friday, i'll probably have more time to browse..

I liek Zara a lot, but i can never get their pants to fit me. They don't make things for short girls with hips. gr.

Their pants are great, for once I never have to try them on in the store

I'm so excited, a new Zara is opening in the shopping centre not far from me. And it's big, 1400 square metres hopefully filled with lots and lots of great clothes and shoes. Since I have never been to a Zara before I don't know what to expect, but I am definitely going on the opening day (supposed to be this friday) and maybe they even have some good discounts

I have never bought Zara stuff, but this weekend I went to Marshalls (its like a discount store, not sure if they are all over the US or what, where you get designer or name brand stuff for lower prices) and they had tonsa Zara stuff! Its nice actually, I like the material and I got some cute stuff for work.

I would never buy work or going out clothes from Zara,for all the reasons (bad fabrics/stitching/etc) mentioned above.But I love to travel,and I find them great for one-season trendy but comfy travelling garb Their linen trousers and skirts are great.

Being 5'2 and a half,though,I always need 12 cm off the trousers.Which is why I was particularly pleased with a few "cropped trousers" that fit just nicely as regular trousers for me this season!!

We haven't had a problem with lack of colour over here this season...things are very bright.

But in Europe it is a good idea not to buy anything too directional or noticeable from Zara as you'll find girls in exactly the same clothes from Berlin to Bologna.

I zara, it has such nice clothes, aprt from the trousers really arent designed for 5"3 curvy girls. So im out of look when it comes to buying trousers from there. But there tops are great !!

Zara is so great its like any other luxury brand but cheaper
