Zara definitely does not have the nicest store presentation but I actually don't think it's especially bad during sale times. I don't find it intolerably messy; I just dislike that everything was crammed onto a small rack and you have to dig as if you were in a thrift store. Too time-consuming for everyday clothing.
Aside from the kimonos I posted earlier, I haven't bought a whole lot of
clothing from Zara. Most of my purchases from 2008 have been footwear.

I did post a leather jacket I bought in
#3188, and I found a better picture of it on
caroline's chictopia:

Boots from the new collection. Very nice quality of leather. USD $129 each.
The other two pairs of tall Zara boots I have are from spring-summer 2008. You can tuck your jeans in all of the boots. I thought this was a fleeting trend started by celebs, but now it's become my winter staple. B)
And I got two pairs of ankle boots. Ankle boots are tricky for people who have atheletic calves like me, but these are great because they stop
right at the ankle to enlongate your legs as much as possible. A lot of people have the patent oxfords (and at $79, it's a great price!), but I haven't seen the other one often. The camera doesn't show the details, but it's got three casading 'flaps' on the side. I first spotted it at the Flat Iron store in New York but it wasn't available in my size, so I raced all the way to SoHo. I have never walked that fast from Flat Iron to SoHo, but it's well worth it.
