* Ashlee Simpson - neither? lol i dunno i dont feel like either one is really 'her'. its too costumey. maybe a darker blonde is better

* Reese Witherspoon - def blonde

* Mischa Barton - dirty blonde early OC days was best

* Jessica Simpson - blonde, but its always so fake but i think thats the one she pulls off the best

* Cameron Diaz - i like them all but for different reasons. super dark like W cover, light brown is such a nice change, but light blonde is the color i identify with her personality the most

* Scarlett Johannsson - platinum

* Fergie - blonde, imo she cant pull off dark hair

* Hilary Duff - happy medium, not too dark or light. light blonde is nice but it makes her look younger...

* Nicole Richie - various shades of blonde, especially Simple Life 3

* Mandy Moore - medium true brown

obviously the middle one.. i tried MANY times to emulate it, but hairdressers always seemed to have a really hard time doing it on my hair. I think I just need a lot of different coloured wigs!

I also agree, micha's hair on the OC was absolutely beautiful on her..

A lot of people think that girls with very pale skin and light eyes look great with dark hair because of the contrast, but I always found myself feeling very washed out and ghostly looking.

yeahhh that middle one is nice! the light blonde in that photo isnt bad but i dont think her personality fits as nicely as the middle.

ooo i remember sending that exact picture of Mischa Barton in HQ to my friend years ago lol back then i was still growing out my hair. i really wish she would go back to that.

...although i usually avoid pictures with bangs or shorter hair because i dont want them to get any idears when they are wielding scissors!

pale skin, light eyes, and dark hair combo is very nice but it depends on their cheek and lip color as well. like Alexis Bledel pulls it off nicely also because it comes naturally to her. some complexions, it just washes everything out. (but i hate to generalize for people!) the face just becomes more blank rather than making the eyes *pop*.

my criteria for what i consider a 'good hair color' on me
* eyes should still stand out
* i still look good without makeup so it shouldnt wash me out
* i shouldnt have to change my style like clothes and makeup to suit it. not too costumey for me.

i was talking to my friend the other day about how when im much older i'll probably just go back to natural but then what if i start greying! then i would have to keep coloring

yesterday a customer asked if my brows were natural color or not. since i got them to match my roots she said wasnt so sure, she had been debating about it. i swear more and more people are coming out of the wood work and asking me questions about my hair/brows etc i would consider her a semi-regular so she has probably seen many of my different haircolors over the years. its funny because its not like a lot people look at me strangely at all so its always surprising to me when they ask. after they see that im friendly and not scary then they start asking all these questions. i will take it as a blessing that i havent gotten any dirty looks or maybe im just oblivious to it all *luh luh luhhhh*

She has beautiful hair. I think for me, now I see the key (haha what an annoying, unintentional rhyme!) is that the nicest blonde hair has lots of different highlights and lowlights interwoven, even if it isn't very obvious. Like to me, Natashas hair looks as though it has more than one shade.
