Rudi is won of my all tiem favorite designers
... and peggy is by far my favorite model, I love her look and she was really creative in her work. He was very innovative in fashion, and I think his clothes also reflect a social or political stance on liberation as well.

thanks for all this Lena, Space & Cerfas - I hadn't heard of Rudi before. Reading this has spurred me on to dig out some of my fashion history books this weekend & check him out - feel like i haven't done that for ages. I used to spend hours on end immersed in fashion history books.

The feeling of seeing his work for the first time is was astonishment for me...couldn't believe that I had never heard of him before, couldn't believe how much of contemporary design shows his influence.
