Rudi is won of my all tiem favorite designers ... and peggy is by far my favorite model, I love her look and she was really creative in her work. He was very innovative in fashion, and I think his clothes also reflect a social or political stance on liberation as well.

and yes, he was one of the most renovative designers of this century, a real master

and then, there are those that say U.S. has brought us no 'real' inovative design.. hmm just take a look at Rudi's work guys

thanks for all this Lena, Space & Cerfas - I hadn't heard of Rudi before. Reading this has spurred me on to dig out some of my fashion history books this weekend & check him out - feel like i haven't done that for ages. I used to spend hours on end immersed in fashion history books.
