I looked at a couple of brands. Ann Dem and some of the Rick Owens stuff were not on sale although other brands were on sale. I guess Ann is just too popular

The biggest discount at LVR on Ann stuff was 30%, then they just took the stock off the site, I guess it got sent back or something.

Cricket in Liverpool

Well there is not a sale on exactly - but they have some gorgeous stuff in at the moment and there is a rack of items which are about 75% off, I was almost tempted by the D Dquared trapper hats reduced from £350 to £175 as a prezzie for b friend.

Swung by Barneys and Bergdorf Men's after work. Barneys is on the second mark-down, and the men's is virtually wiped clean, unless you are L or XL. Bergdorf still has plenty of stuff at around 60% off. I was tempted by the McQueen cashmere sweater with the dress shirt cuff attached, but still could not bring myself to shell out $300 for it.

Caffeine, Ann Dem boots are not on sale in Barneys.

I was there too! I was contemplating on buying the blue McQueen v-neck with stiched-on dress shirt for the bf. But after my dentist, I am a poor boy who wants another mark down.

were the after-christmas sales really worth it? i didnt end up going but isn't there going to be a big end of the year sale this weekend and if not, are those after-christmas sales good for only mon.? THANKSS..just recieved my paycheck and i feel compelled to go when i can shop for some good bargains =]

I wish I'd read this thread sooner. I went to LVR tonight just out of curiosity and noticed that most F/W stuff was gone or on sale in tiny quantities. Argh...

I guess it's for the best, though. I shouldn't be spending ANY more money right now.

I think it might have something to do with age and life sitation, you know..if you're only 21 you probably are a student, while others are older and therefore working and making more money than what one can afford with a students economy.. just my guess!
Don't feel bad! You can look forward to getting older and being able to make, and therefore also spend, more money!
