Its so amazing to see those pictures of all the winner's together.Has there been a group of people more deserving of this award? So happy with this years result's.

Too bad the Vanity Fair party got cancelled; I bet we would have seen more celebs (aka more gowns).

My top 5 best dressed:
1. Heidi!
2. Keri
3. Marion
4. Penelope
5. Cameron

But mostly everyone looked good.

i don't care what any of those so-called experts say, tilda swinton looked utterly beautiful to me....and she looked like her usual uber-stylish self in that gorgeous lanvin. marion cotillard was really lovely as well in that scaley gaultier. she was soooo sweet! i am so in love with her. so charming and humble. and did anybody catch her crooning 'padame' by piaf in the press room?! i love that song! and cate blanchett in dries van noten?! who would have ever thought to wear dries to the oscars other than cate? those three were my favourites and basically because they didn't look like some stylists vision or walking advertisments as i heard the graceful julie christie say how she felt about the whole process of red carpets.

Am I the only one who hated Heidi's dress? I don't like the colour at all,and the earrings just don't match.

Marion looked incredible. Loved her make up, her hair, she looked stunning. I also thought Sarah Larson's dress was lovely, she looked great too. Tilda looked awful, not a scrap of make up, she looked as if she hadn't seen sunlight or the outside world for that matter for 1000 years. Like she had emerged from an underground bunker. Her dress was awful as well. It resembled a torn curtain. Having said that, I do in a way admire how unsuperficial and unhollywood she is.

I thought the fashion choices (for the most part) were so boring, best dressed for me goes to Marion and Tilda, I loved some of the suits the men wore though. Especially Javier Bardem in the slightly unorthodox choice, in Prada.

Oh, and Viggo Mortensen

i dont like her but Jennifer Garner looked stunning!! that dress
Keri Russell looked gorgeous too!!

Javier is such a man.:heart:

Marchesa...seriously what's up with that line? I see nothing incredible about it...espcially wearing it to the Oscars. These past couple of years that's all these starlets have been wearing. What happened to kissing Karl's toes? :judge::ermm::p

Is there a video of Katherine Heigl presenting?

Yes, I posted it in her thread. :flower:

My best dressed list so far goes:

1. Marion Cotillard - Simply elegant, this dress was a hit or miss and for her, definitely a hit. The scale detail I'd imagine would be incredibly hard to pull off for any other actress, but she worked it.
2. Sarah Larson - Wearing Valentino couture must be a huge deal to her, hahah. Isn't she a cocktail waitress of some sort? I think the dress is so beautiful and it looked very nice on her.
3. Katherine Heigl - It's nothing new for her. I'm not saying she had the best look (not so great makeup!), but the dress was exquisite and complimented her figure like no other.
4. Cameron Diaz - I don't believe in wearing light pink for the Oscars because it's far from an evening colour and so few can look nice in it, but the Dior was stunning. She looked great sans the last minute ponytail. :innocent: Would've looked a lot better if she pulled the ponytail under and had a messy bun instead.

That's it, really. This year's winners were well deserved, but the dresses? Kind of bland minus a select few, imo.
