3.1 Phillip Lim S/S 2024 New York

I quite enjoy this. Love the last few looks. He always make khaki works. I wonder with proper setting and lighting, it could have elevated more.

Suchhh a fabulous show. Color, movement, texture. A little something for everyone but not so much so it feels unfocused. The Lim-isms with his use of military/parka cottons. love it

Stam walking and not opening/closing is a suprise lol. she's doing every b list show in NY. i thought she was going to walk at Michael Kors today

Another copy cat….

Otherwise, the whole collection is too messy for me. Editing is important.

Great contemporary seperates. I always end up with Lim in my closet every season. The clothes look great on hangers and have this no nonsense utility to them. Things are edited well and easy to integrate into a wardrobe.

the weakest looks are the opening Crystalline pieces. I love that flared skirt with sheer anorak. That would be stunning with sneakers and a t shirt - very Manhattan. The floor length pieces are perfect for a April/March cocktail party in a conservatory. The slacks with waist coats again scream Manhattan. That big shirt with wide cropped pants screams public school art teacher living in a Tribeca loft.

truly captures some of the lifestyle of a Manhattanite. any woman could wear this and look contemporary, comfortable and chic.

Really? You would wear this? I am struggling to pinpoint a single piece I would sincerely wear without feeling that I’m trying waaay too hard.
It’s like the worst part of Phoebe’s Céline maximized to the excess in the name of the void (as in I don’t see the very very rich uptown woman from PP approaching this even from far).
And it goes without saying that it would be chicer and more honest to your wallet to just go have a run at the old Céline on vestiaire collective.
Or simply wait next week.

I really enjoyed the last few looks - otherwise the collection was w.e it definitely has offerings and will sell to it's clientele
