^ I think Corbis is the best place to start...put Chanel Show 199x in the search- they have a pretty good sample, although not complete...also Getty and Fashion Windows, both pretty good up to a point... 
It is shocking to Chanel obsessives like myself that there is little in the way of complete show coverage before the early 2000s, I guess it relates to when the Internet really got to be a common tool in dispensing pictures...
