big news - I've been working/painting a backdrop for a social event coming up this saterday. Things have been VERY hectic because of the tight schedule... but its turning out better than I thought it would be. Its kind of 3-D in a way, and very hard to describe so I will post pictures once the whole thing is set up. I've been coming home with acrylic paint on my hands... feet... thankfully not my clothing.

I've posted mine in the past. And your work is really well done! I particularly like what you've done with the pieces of what looks like quilting... Rather quirky, it reminds me of folk art a bit. Was this for your graduate exhibition?

These are for my Adv. Paint class. I love the faux-quilt stuff. Its my newest thing. Its definetly a play on folk art/ arts&crafts against fine arts. But with mechanical things. I'm still writing my abstract for it right now, I need to get it done for Thursday. yeeps.
