A Second Lookbook

So.. Me and my friends Alyson and Liz are starting our senior project.. we have to collaborate on a collection and dress two mannequins in accessories.

There are our two girls with our complete collection that I drew up. I've attached a pic of an oversized hobo in the making... and then some ruching detailing (the yellow is just test leather).. the center front panel will be teal ruched lambskin, the purple is the lining material. I actually took time to make nice pockets on the lining. So much work... I'm excited to be able to use the bag after i'm done though

some of my designs/art--flavorpill

i'm sure some if not most of you are familiar with flavorpill, the arts and entertainment calendar/mailing list for san francisco, los angeles, chicago, new york city and london. i've done several headers for them and this week, i have 2! nyc and london. here are the links:

http://nyc.flavorpill.net/mailer/issue243/index.html

http://london.flavourpill.net/mailer/issue67/index.html

this one is older:

anyway, check em out

;)

well, i'm not familiar with flavorpill (i'm german) but i really like the old header you posted.

i love flavorpill...i get it every week...
congrats...!!!

my fave is the one with the birds...very nice...

thanks! the original is bigger, i just cropped it. i might get part of it as a tattoo but i'm not sure yet...

i keep thinking of cities that flavorpill could start a calendar for...berlin has so much stuff going on all the time, so does paris, barcelona...maybe our international tfs'ers should get on that!

:)

thanks so much! i have a lot of fun doing them.

i get ALL the flavorpills...just because i love looking at the headers! of course i get really upset when something is happening in a city i'm very far away from...grr..

there's a lecture in nyc i really want to go to...the discussion on crocheting the hyperbolic plane. i just read the interview with the mathematicians in cabinet magazine, and it's really, really interesting. plus it involves knitting/crochet!

i also sort of want to see the tracy + the plastics installation/show...i saw her live a long, long time ago (before she was in the whitney biennial) and i'm sort of interested in seeing what she's doing now. it was wacko, but sort of awesome, in an art-school kind of way.

anyway..thanks!

thanks so much! sometimes they change the text, which irks me, but they're just really fun to do. much like i'm sure that tfs headers are fun to do!

:)

Finally finished this bag.. I'm so happy with it.

Front is ruched teal lamskin.. back is bronze calfskin. :crush: Inside is lined with purple... there's still more detailing to do to it.. but it's all sewn and put together at least :)

Whoa, that's quite an offer! Nice bag, Luna. You talented girl, you.

I work for planet magazine..and for the next issue I was asked to draw some people, including Viktor and Rolf..here is their piece (and my favorite out of all the drawings). ON a fashion note, I also drew As Four and Miguel Adrover, but they were terrible in my opinion...so this is it for now..if you want to see the others, go buy the next issue of Planet Magazine :P
