Aww, thank you, Brian!

I hadn't ever had any dupioni before, and I was concerned that it might be terrible to work with on account of the fraying, but once I zig-zagged the raw edges (I don't have a serger) it was absolutely fine, and I found that it eased much better than many fabrics I have worked with. Therefore the curved seams in the body of the jacket and the backs of the sleeves, to say nothing of the sleeve-heads all went together perfectly, first time. I usually spend a lot of time picking out stitches and fussing when I put a pair of sleeves in a garment!

Edited to add, Purple, that's really, really cool. Is that mendhi henna?

Thanks, 100% genuine pen.

As You like It: I own a dress in the same material! Been wondering what material it is :D A woman at school is making a victoran jacket out of the same material. Your jacket is beautiful! Love the color. :D
The lamps are on the bottom of this page, for some reason the link doesn't work here but it does work well in my website

Cypress, that sculpture/painting is awesome! I love stuff like that.

Chanel, did you embroider that? It looks so very cool. It kind of reminds me of some fabric I made a tunic out of a while back. I'm a big fan of gold metallic.

ayli thankyou!
actually its yellow thread & its not embroidered.
just experimenting with simple basic stitch & lots of circles. haha
